Before I start, I'd like to point out that I know there is going to be a new build coming out on June 29th, and I also know that there is a stickied thread called On the Horizon with a long list on upcoming changes. However, some of the listed changes (i.e. added new reticles for weapons) aren't very specific, so if I repeat a common complaint that you're tired of hearing or something that is already going to be addressed, I apologize.
So, in no particular order...
Frame rate - This is pretty obvious, and you must all know about it, so I'll move on.
Menu / loading times - These are atrocious. There should not be a 5 second delay between when I move my analog stick to select my assault rifle in the Dropsuit Fitting Room and the moment the assault rifle is actually highlighted.
Default loadouts - This is a broken system. Even if I select a loadout to be my default, I still have to select it right before I drop in. So what's the point in having a default loadout?
Pressing O to respawn - Why? You're dead. From what I've noticed, there is no revival system in the game, so just take us to the respawn screen one to two seconds after our death.
Knifing - without upgrades, completely useless. I sneaked up behind someone and knifed him in the back TWICE, and he did not fall. I don't care what game you're playing, if you get knifed in the back, you should be dead. Knifing is meant to give you a quick, quiet kill when you are very close to someone. If you could kill a person faster by shooting him than by knifing him, your knifing system needs some fixing.
Shooting in a moving tank - this may have to do with the choppy frame rate, but when I fire a shot from the main turret while moving, the shot will seem to come from an area other than the barrel of the tank's gun and will usually travel at an impossible angle into the ground. This makes shooting from a tank that is not stationary very unreliable.
Lack of any real explanation to what some of the stats mean. CCP, you've made a game with deep, deep customization, which is great for those who learn how to use it. The problem is, you don't tell us what much of it means. This can be overwhelming for the new player. I understand skill books and buying skills, but I have no idea what dropsuit modules are, and I couldn't tell you what the numbers mean in the Fitting Room. Also, this is not related to customization, but I still don't know how to switch to my secondary gun.
Aiming Down Sights - You have so many games to be influenced by (Call of Duty, Battlefield, Killzone), but you decide to take your ADS mechanics from Resistance: Fall of Man? Why can't we just bring the gun up to our eye, like in every other FPS out there?
And lastly, I need some tips. I am usually near the top of the leaderboard in Battlefield 3 and CoD (3rd or 4th in Battlefield, top 3 in CoD), but I am getting destroyed in this game. I'll rarely win a firefight, even if it is 1-on-1 and I have the element of surprise. And you already know from reading above that I can't knife. So, what am I doing wrong? I'm using the Assault -T dropsuit and a Breach assault rifle, but I'm getting killed by people using the militia AR. Should I put skill points into Weaponry first, or Assault Rifle Proficiency? Any help would be appreciated.

You can revive others using a nanite injector but as of right now few people use it. We should see more revives in the next build since they are making it easier to find fallen team mates and there are a good chunk of players who want to play a support role in this game already. |

Everything you mentioned here has been discussed before, and we're all waiting for that new build on the 29th to see what it'll bring with it. There's nothing that can be said about the current build pretty much now, we've been discussing it and offering feedback for over a month (since May 4th).
As for tips, the best thing I can tell you is, spend more time with the game |

there is a medic/revive system, but its kinda useless as you can't tell who a medic is, and you can't tell when someone goes down or were they are. there's a couple threads on here about people who skilled up to play medics and they can't do their job. and your not dead, O just means you let yourself bleed out and revive.
i do think the knife system is kinda useless.
um i have no clue what your complaint about the ADS is.
menus do need to be fixed, alot of useless lag in them. I also don't see why the store needs 10 seconds to tell me no items exists in this category.
the stats are based around how eve's systems work.
why are you dieing most the time? because of skills and equipment, you could look at it in an rpg element, that player next to you has a better suit, a skill that increases his armor hp, shield regen rate, has an armor repair unit equipped, a better gun, and his gun skill maxed which gives him a damage boost. |

Get into a match in Dust 514 and press L1. Then get into a match of Battlefield or Call of Duty and press L1. You'll notice that in Dust, the gun does not get lifted all the way to your character's eye level. This is more like AOS (Aim Over Sights). In most other FPS, you will lift the gun fully to your face and look down the sights. Sure, Dust gives you a fancy digital reticle (like using the Bullseye in the Resistance series), but in my opinion, ADS just feels better.

It probably is the equipment aspect of things. I am putting lots of bullets into the enemy, but they put so few into me and I drop. I guess I have some ISK to raise...

ADS is fine, it fits for the scope being used. from what i know we will be gettin the original AR that was shown that has a more standard reflex sight so maybe the ADS will be different for that.
PS: on a side note the new beta vid im seeing a new scope on the ARs....i do hope that isnt the new default scope for all ARs, seems to have a bit too much zoom, guess ill have to wait on the 29th and try for myself :( |

i already feel a bit goofy that my militia assault rifle seems to have a fair bit of zoom already... yet can't hit worth a thing at the range it zooms to. |

Because of the way AR recoil work, it's best to simply tap in single shots unless if the target is literally in your face. I've seen several people do this at an almost mechanical rate- makes me wonder if they're using some sort of slow turbo controller macro for it. Makes me wish you could toggle it between full and semi auto. |

most of what you talked about can be written off as just part of the beta. However I do completely agree with the aiming mechanic. I really dont like it. It doesn't feel right. |
