Before I start, I'd like to point out that I know there is going to be a new build coming out on June 29th, and I also know that there is a stickied thread called On the Horizon with a long list on upcoming changes. However, some of the listed changes (i.e. added new reticles for weapons) aren't very specific, so if I repeat a common complaint that you're tired of hearing or something that is already going to be addressed, I apologize.
So, in no particular order...
Frame rate - This is pretty obvious, and you must all know about it, so I'll move on.
Menu / loading times - These are atrocious. There should not be a 5 second delay between when I move my analog stick to select my assault rifle in the Dropsuit Fitting Room and the moment the assault rifle is actually highlighted.
Default loadouts - This is a broken system. Even if I select a loadout to be my default, I still have to select it right before I drop in. So what's the point in having a default loadout?
Pressing O to respawn - Why? You're dead. From what I've noticed, there is no revival system in the game, so just take us to the respawn screen one to two seconds after our death.
Knifing - without upgrades, completely useless. I sneaked up behind someone and knifed him in the back TWICE, and he did not fall. I don't care what game you're playing, if you get knifed in the back, you should be dead. Knifing is meant to give you a quick, quiet kill when you are very close to someone. If you could kill a person faster by shooting him than by knifing him, your knifing system needs some fixing.
Shooting in a moving tank - this may have to do with the choppy frame rate, but when I fire a shot from the main turret while moving, the shot will seem to come from an area other than the barrel of the tank's gun and will usually travel at an impossible angle into the ground. This makes shooting from a tank that is not stationary very unreliable.
Lack of any real explanation to what some of the stats mean. CCP, you've made a game with deep, deep customization, which is great for those who learn how to use it. The problem is, you don't tell us what much of it means. This can be overwhelming for the new player. I understand skill books and buying skills, but I have no idea what dropsuit modules are, and I couldn't tell you what the numbers mean in the Fitting Room. Also, this is not related to customization, but I still don't know how to switch to my secondary gun.
Aiming Down Sights - You have so many games to be influenced by (Call of Duty, Battlefield, Killzone), but you decide to take your ADS mechanics from Resistance: Fall of Man? Why can't we just bring the gun up to our eye, like in every other FPS out there?
And lastly, I need some tips. I am usually near the top of the leaderboard in Battlefield 3 and CoD (3rd or 4th in Battlefield, top 3 in CoD), but I am getting destroyed in this game. I'll rarely win a firefight, even if it is 1-on-1 and I have the element of surprise. And you already know from reading above that I can't knife. So, what am I doing wrong? I'm using the Assault -T dropsuit and a Breach assault rifle, but I'm getting killed by people using the militia AR. Should I put skill points into Weaponry first, or Assault Rifle Proficiency? Any help would be appreciated.

agreed

Agreed Pressing O to respawn - Why? You're dead. From what I've noticed, there is no revival system in the game, so just take us to the respawn screen one to two seconds after our death.
There is revival systems and some people want to remain dead for a while. Knifing - without upgrades, completely useless. I sneaked up behind someone and knifed him in the back TWICE, and he did not fall. I don't care what game you're playing, if you get knifed in the back, you should be dead. Knifing should be removed if anything, knifing in video games is out of hand, surviving a hail of gunfire only to be slashed should never equal death. the knife atm is decent as it takes more then 1 hit to kill and it is cumbersome to use. Shooting in a moving tank - this may have to do with the choppy frame rate, but when I fire a shot from the main turret while moving, the shot will seem to come from an area other than the barrel of the tank's gun and will usually travel at an impossible angle into the ground. This makes shooting from a tank that is not stationary very unreliable.
agreed, the turret aim is no where near the cross hair when moving, but this could be fixed with skills. Lack of any real explanation to what some of the stats mean. for new players more explanation could help. Aiming Down Sights - You have so many games to be influenced by (Call of Duty, Battlefield, Killzone), but you decide to take your ADS mechanics from Resistance: Fall of Man? get kills, stay with a team mate always. hack turrets and control points as they give lots of points, for the love of god hack spawn points before the useless supply depots.

i think that idea could work if the kinife was a equipable weapon rather than a worry button mabyet he new worry button would be to break someones skull with the stock of your rifle?? |

This. I would like melee that is effected by the type of weapon you're carrying, and a separate slot for a melee weapon.
I want to bash people to death with my HMG. |

I seem to die alott too, even when I have the jump on someone .. As they jump , run left and right.. Then we circle...atm I worry when I engage a enemy even one that's got his back to me. Feels more luck based than skill based atm for me, no disrespect to the devs, but the game still needs work, much respect to them they seem to be listening to the feedback and improving. I'm hoping the new build fixes the game for the better for ccp .I don't think this current ver can add much more feedback. I still think the vehicles should work like eve ships with a capacitor, hope they do, do that :) |

I used to be just like you with the kills. It seemed to take AGES to kill someone in this game. But I've noticed some things after hearing feedback from others and my personal experience as well.
-Make sure your bullets are actually hitting them. You might think your bullets are landing because you get one or two hitmarkers but that doesn't mean your 30 other bullets are just missing them.
-Upgrade your skills. Make sure your weaponary and assault rifle proficiency are upgraded so you do more damage.
-Strafe and don't stand still. When you're in a firefight with someone don't just stand there and shoot at them. Move around, jump, make it harder for them to hit you. Don't let them get the kill so easy.
Hopefully this helps. Again, make sure your bullets are actually hitting them. |

The kill boxes on dust seem to be smaller then other games adding some more difficulty to it.
Guns need "iron sights" option it makes it easer to switch between targets. they may be old school but they work
fix the vehicle delivery glitch thing, you call for -1- LAV and get 30+ more piled on top of each other which makes it so you can't get other vehicles dropped of anywhere else |

There are times you don't want to respawn right away. I frequently use Remote Explosives, which detonate when you hit that respawn button. I can't count the number of times I've booby trapped an area, fought to the death, then watched as a couple enemies walk over my explosives which I then blow up by respawning. |
