Back in Beta, I used to get excited every time I saw "Synchronizing" at the splash page. It meant bug fixes usually.
We've mainly had nothing but new features added for the last 6 months, and the myriad of bugs that they brought with them. I would be beyond happy if Warlords 1.3 was nothing but bug fixes.
Stop adding things. Fix what's wrong as best you can CCP, I implore you! I can't think of any merc that wouldn't be happy with a 100% bug fix patch.

It has not really been nothing but content being added. Warlords 1.2 has introduce some bug fixes in the process although they are generally not listed on the patch notes for some odd reason. You just didn't notice it. Most of the bug, however, tend to be implemented within the first 2 weeks of update being released because a major update will always (no matter what CCP does to avoid it) introduce some new bugs. I can understand why some people want CCP to just focus on bug fixes for the time being and forget about content for a while, but there is a problem with that. Not everyone wants to just see bugs being fixed. There are those like me who prefer to get both at once. New content along with bug fixes. Just little by little over time. The idea here is that while we are waiting for bug fixes, we at least get something new to do or use to help pass the time. There are players here who will get tired very quickly if they don't get new content. Boredom can be a very powerful bug in itself. I feel ya. However when I have smooth framerates, and a balanced match that goes down to the wire, that's what really keeps me coming back. If CCP could give me games like this 80% of the time, I think it would go a long way towards player retention, and keeping vets around for more than the social aspect.
At the end of the day, gameplay is the most important factor to me. Gameplay has been so terrible lately, I'll just log in every two days, grab my free stuff, mess with some fits, and log out. I'm over getting stuck on walls, stuck on terrain, having equipment magically disappear from my hands, having my LAV do cartwheels from hitting a pebble, horrible hit detection, can't deploy glitch, etc, etc, etc.
I think there's enough good features in place already that a solid 3 months of polish would go a long ways. Some folks say you can't polish a turd, I beg to differ.
