No battles and no word from ccp or archduke on the matter sure they can give us a booster for the ones lost today but that's not the point. Please archduke give us a sign.

Simple solution then: The servers should only be listed as up when everyone at CCP is sitting comfortably on the ready to do something about it.
I would suggest Monday through Friday, 10AM - 6PM Central Standard US time.

I wasn't meaning that you always work what I meant is ur usually the one to tell us if stuff is happening and you were quiet, but I understand im not usually up playing dust at 6 am (central time) im usually on the bus to school I just decided "what the hay I haven't played dust for a week and im up at 6 so why not" *logs in to no battles available* " well dr who marathon it is".

Hey archduke, cant you work at home. I mean as long as no information gets leaked it should be fine. A lot more progression could be made. Just get a giant ass usb and boom. There you go, you can also work on the script in your free time I guess.

Because he said "no words from CCP OR Archduke" which means that they are 2 different parts. Separating the two is wrong as you do work for CCP

I know that the people aren't working 24/7, that would be idiotic. Maybe 23/7 though ;P
No, the main gripe we have is that the servers apparently never came up after DT, and no one noticed at the office, or if they did, they didn't think to maybe post a note on the forum.
It's the silence, GM Archduke. It's the silence that is getting to people. It's the total and utter lack of any form of communication when things go wrong that is making people angry.
A simple sticky stating "We know there is a problem, we'll keep you posted." (and remembering to update it) would go a long way. Players might not be happy that they yet again can't play, some of whom have spent REAL money on active boosters.
Instead at least 9 hours went by without a SINGLE word or any resolution. Not ONE.
it probably was more but I quit at that time. |

Servers can be set up to monitor their processes and email/message periodicly to tell everyone they're up. Then the message queue can be interrogated to determine if there are timely messages from each server, and let people know if there aren't. It should not be necessary for people to be monitoring these systems 24/7, and I'm sure they aren't but messaging can be used to alert if there is something wrong.
As for GM Archduke working from home, why should he, if he's not on shift?? Yes, if he's on shift that's a good reason to work from home but otherwise, no, if there's shifts, he should not be bothered.
