As a merc who has spent Gé¼400 from beta until now.. I am not against buying some more goodies especially if it benefits the games progression.. But here lies the problem.. NONE of us have a clue what the future holds for this games progression

From the server almost imploding after some of the worst weeks of gameplay I have seen here...
It is surprising to see AUR offers thrown out without any indication on future updates, content or a PS4 port 
I am all for supporting CCP and Dust514.. but when it feels like daylight robbery.. I am not so sure 
Any thoughts on the latest AURlords offer?

I can almost certainly guarantee that dust will be around for a while on ps3 enough so to justify any money spent, especially on these great offers

I am not saying the offer isn't good.. It just feels terribly out of place with the gameplay currently...
Obviously CCP need mercs to spend cash.. but they could try hype it up a little first an encourage us to do so

Will the purchase add enjoyment to your day-to-day Dust experience? That is probably a better question for you than if Dust is getting ported or not.
Slightly off topic, but it needs to be said: we haven't heard anything about a port and nothing we do will make CCP talk about one. You could purchase 10,000,000 AUR and CCP would continue to sit quietly. CCP will talk about a port when CCP feels like it and not a second sooner. Some will say this is a smart decision (CPM), others will disagree (the rest of the playerbase).

And the clear answer would be NO.
Boosters/SKINS/AURbarge/Gear/APEX.. none of these will change the fact..
You are playing 4 1/2 different game-modes with low player population and rare balanced fights..
I understand, CCP want to keep quiet in case of future blunders.. but WTF ???
That translates to as much as "We are not saying anything about updates until it is already in place"
So basically any future changes will be discussed behind doors and your opinions can be kept to yourself.
I understand, many players want to praise CCP and hope for a good harvest next season...

Let's pretend CCP is, in fact, working on a port to PC/PS4. Great! No. Not great. They have been working on this port with the feedback provided by 7 people (CPM). I think the CPM1 and CPM2 folks are great and all, but they are not the entire community. If CCP has actually been working on a port without talking to us then we are so very, very ******.

If my ability to read between the lines didn't fool me (and it actually does 90% of the times), that's exactly what was actually being done from October 2013 to at least Summer 2014: when everyone was expcting a furthr iteration of Dust on PS4, they announced Project Legion for PC and for what I could see, nobody at CCP was even vaguely interested into community early feedback.
CCP Z's progression system wasn't actually the best progression system for Dust/Lgion, not bcause it was ugly itself (that's how it actually works for any other game), but because it was a totally different thing compared to New Eden "Spirit". I think that the early beta testers loved the idea of making their own character with its own equipment, weapons, proficiencies etc at least as much as I did.
I think that "simply" completing what Dust should have been is a wonderful beginning. You know, large scale battles with all kind of weaponry/vehicles, the ability to call in installations, the ability to buy your own MCC and upgrade it, Drones infestation, Pve, MTACs, Jet Fighters, deeper interaction with Eve, Nullsec and of course (hopefully you'll remember that) the Attack on the Titan thing .
I think we could all agree that "completing" what Dust began to do wouldn't require much feedback. Another story would be if they're actually overturn the original concept of Dust...

I bought the aurum for passive boosters. It was on sale and I won't have as much time to play as much with school starting next week.
I do agree that perhaps a hint on the future would be nice but the situation is what it is. They'd let us know if they wanted to. |

Well I wish I could play Dust but this week I started my 3rd year in college so my weekend is just studying. Even the ps4 controller works on Dust and wow its much better. I can fire faster, aim, and spam the trigger more thsn the stupid modded controllers that players buy xD
