One of the things I really like with the dust experience is the end of match screen. Between seeing what salvage you get to being able to send messages to people on or off you team after the game, seeing what corps people have moved to, what the score if of the idiot that sent you hate mail had, progression of your kills and deaths over time, the EDM screen is a well of information that is useful, beneficial, and an otherwise great addition to the game.
That being said...
Since the introduction of isk payments of losses incurred not get to seen the screen at the end of the game and get stuck on the victory screen 95% of the time I play faction warfare. This is a great inconvenience for a couple reasons and takes away from the joy that I derive from Dust514.
1) I believe that when I get stuck in the EDM and i am running with a fire team and I am squad lead I can fall out of sync with the rest of the people trying to play FW. I live in Japan so the players playing FW gets very low about 3 hours before downtime and if i get held up in the EDM i'll have to wait for all the people that are queuing to finish their game. When this happens it will take me 15 minutes to get into the next battle and the players that I am squading up with drop one by one or fall asleep.
2) If one person gets held up in your squad gets held up in the EDM, the entire squad must wait for them to get out.
3) If the squad leader puts you into a battle after the battle you just played, trading is nearly impossible
a) if this happens, really important deal need to be finished and people will and have left squad to trade leaving us a man down in squad and with queue syncs going on, it can mean the difference between a win and a loss
4) If you get held up, you can't send any mails to anyone for any reason that you may want to ex. getting into a squad when you are running solo, yelling at blueberries for doing nothing in a game, seeing what corps the players on your team or playing against were on, ect
5) People that don't get held up in the EDM screen, don't want to wait for others that are stuck in the screen and that can have various adverse effects
6) Not seeing what your progression of KD over time, KD, salvage, LP point gain, and all the other information you can gather from it, is lost. That's sucks.
7) Other reasons that I haven't highlighted that I hope will posted to this topic
8) Perhaps Ratatti just wants me to suffer. I am not sure but maybe this is the case
At any rate, I know that there are other more pressing issues that may be preventing people from enjoying the game but this is something that was rarely a problem in dust for me before April of this year and it happens in FW more often than not for me.
