i have thought of few new designs for av that benefit the infantry if they use it right.
1. Smart Swarms: these swarms fire in the same way as the regular but explode differently. they would "stick" to vehicles. they are in the remote explosive family as well so you would need to manually detonate them. this means you can build up multiple clips onto one vehicle and if enough is built up you can destroy a tank with a click of a button (explained later) very useful when going up against a squad of tanks. the idea would be to allow them to stay stuck while a tank is in the red line but it could also just cause them to detonate. the button refers to the detonator (it takes up 1 equipment slot) you switch to it like you would an RE and they detonate. the swarms could also require bandwidth since it is both a gun and equipment. since it is in the remote explosive family it would require the RE skill and the swarm skill.
2. AV Dropship/vehicle: a simple mass driver small turret that fires AV grenades (sleek?)

the bandwidth could be removed so all suits can use it but it would have to add a "ghost" equipment slot to sentinels only visible/usable in battle. i first thought of it as a logi AV weapon but... lot of issues on that.

Weapon 1 is a little too, restricted IMO however it's a solid concept if we were to modify it to act like the RE's (R1 fires, L1 detonates) then it would be a step forward.
Weapon 2, that sounds a little more like an anti-infantry weapon then an AV. Also we've already got the light missile launcher turrets for that. But I do agree it would be nice to have more turret options! |

i forgot that swarms don't use L1, that solves the sentinel issue. yes, it will need a few modifications. for the second, i thought people would think it was OP to have a gun that fires precisely while dealing around 1000 damage per shot. it would need a small clip... i think because it is an AV grenade it would have had that "magnetic" pull.
