.... Kincats affected strafe/movement speed too?
Maybe 1% for basic, 2% for adv, and 3% for proto.
So let's say a scout does 6m movement. With 1 complex they will do 8.24 and with stack penalty, I doubt it'll go more than 8.60.
Any thoughts? Will certainly help out Gallente in cqc, might not be too good on minmatar, slightly helpful on Amarr and ok on caldari.

Scouts move to fast as it is. So no.

I'm confused how does a 3% increase make a 6 into an 8.24, that aside you underestimate the values at hand plus it adds unnecessary complexity to a module that's already commonly used and can be considered fairly balanced
adding some utility to it wouldn't be a bad thing but it has to make some sense and not completely break the module, it already helps you jump further due to acceleration and in some cases it can help reach areas that otherwise would not be easy to reach
something simple that could be added that would be useful but not break the module could be a reduction in fall damge it would also synergise very well with something like the myos or even with scouts that like to be sneaky and drop down on unsuspecting targets from heights that might otherwise kill them
Solomon like me that likes to jump off of buildings or finds themselves really low on health when they need to drop down from a height that could kill them would appreciate this and the reduction of damge taken could be as high as 50% maybe more or less if it starts to become a problem
other bonuses could be argued for as long as they don't affect the game overall in a negative manner, something like reducing the amount of stamina being drained or something that has to do with the cardiovascular system as sprinting is mainly using up oxygen and it can be argued that kincats work off of this principle by either storing more oxygen to use when sprinting or by allowing more atp to be stored in the muscles but the process of making atp is due to the respiratory system while transferring said molecules is due to the cardiovascular system meaning faster transportation
cardiac regulators build up your stamina faster as well as increasing it, this makes sense as the respiratory system could gain volume or work faster and harder to produce and store more energy
kinetic catalyzer could work in one of two ways as I see it, first off the muscle itself could store more energy in form of atp making it easier for the muscle to work harder for the short period of time that readily available oxygen supplies are available in form of aerobic respiration the second way would be to enhance the muscle itself in some way internal or external meaning it could be more efficient while using up the same amount of energy
either of these would make it reasonable to reduce the energy consumed or reduce fall damge as stronger muscles enhanced by either form would be able to resist more of a load
and to those that are curious as to how I think myofibril simulators work thats simple its in the name myo means muscle fibril is a part of the muscle a myofibril is what makes up the basic muscle cell and a simulator is something that causes something else to happen example you can stimulate a merc to kill people by giving them isk, so moving on a myofirbil simulator simply coaxes the muscle into contracting all at once sorta like when a doctor hits your knee to check your reflexes allowing for a short burst of highly focused energy in your legs and or arms thus why you can punch harder and jump higher it can be argued that it should take more stamina to do such feats but when you look at it its more like you are actually using that stamina more efficiently rather then exerting yourself to the point you reach new limits
TL:DR what are you too lazy to read you bum? well too bad I'm only putting this here to mock you

AFAIR scouts walk @ ~5.40 m/s I'm actually against that idea, because it means we will probably go back to dance dance revolution/expolsive spam on the battlefield. |
