Long time gallente enthusiast here. I love my AR. I recently maxed out amarr scout and threw a scrambler on it for a hunter scout. My friend convinced me to try the carthum. Its so damn strong it puts my AR to shame. I'm afraid to use damage mods on it. I fear ill never go back to my AR.
Besides the slightly larger ads kick and the heat build up, why should I use my AR instead of the aScr ? I can't justify it. I only prefer/adore my Ar .
While slow to anger and occasionally indecisive, they are also capable of harnessing enormous resolve when truly tested.

Yeah it's good, but not very consistent. The penalty to armor is annoying. |

Yeah the new damage profile is weird to me, but I haven't really had any problems melting armor. I think its the extra range that makes it perform better.
While slow to anger and occasionally indecisive, they are also capable of harnessing enormous resolve when truly tested.

The carthum only has like 13 less dps versus armor than the duvolle assault rifle. It also have a much longer range and devastates shields. That's probably why there's no reason to use the AR...

Yep. Scrambler weaponry is pretty crazy right now. The assault scrambler is better than any other assault and the scrambler rifle is better than any other rifle, and it gets extra rediculous when you stick it on an amarr assault. |

The scrambler is awesome, but it leaves a light trail. The AR is more covert. If you are trying to not get noticed as much, use the AR.

I love my AR but with how much the RR and ASR kill me I'm thinking of jumping ship myself.  |
