Is it safe to assume that project legion wont be a thing? There hasn't been much said about the port for almost a year and the ps3 market is dying off due to next gen release. Is dust 514 doomed to eventually fail and all of its followers to be forgotten? I for one just want to flush my ps(plastic box of hardware limitations)3 down the toilet due to it being an eyesore sitting next to my pimped out gaming rig. Please do us a favor ccp, tell us if this will happen or tell us that you will let us down again. As incentive to telling us whether or not Project legion will go on as planned (if there even is a plan) I will personally upload a video of me beating the crap out of my ps3 (Office space style) and attempting to flush it down my toilet Because A.) Its coming out and I can port over to the new and improved or B.) its not coming out and well why else do I need this plastic heap of **** to remain in my house because my dreams have been crushed...

I still cant believe they wasted their time on gunjack when they could have been working on legion.... I mean how fast will people forget about the arcade shooter? Legion has way more potential and might possibly be able to wipe planetside off the map for good! The simple fact is, we dont need Valkyrie or gunjack, give me eve and legion! Even though eve made me angry over the years. (10 year vet)

lol and still no custom button mapping in dust. im tired of shooting with upper bumpers rather than the triggers they put on my ****ing controller. World of Darkness would have been cool too, im just hoping legion doesnt become that.

Hopefully CCP is messing around with DX12 and/or Windows 10 and they'll make the jump to Xbone/PC... With the marriage of the two that Phil Spencer is spearheading there is no better place. But knowing CCP they'll miss the boat again.. :-/

Not sure bout xbone and PC, would prefer PC and PS4. I'd prefer to play through Steam.

1) There is no evidence that legion is dead, there is also no evidence that its getting a ton of work either.

2) Focus with Dust has shifted, my guess was the small updates caused them to actually start making money. And due tot he Rouge Wedding, if Dust is making money, why would you say or stuff that could possibly shoot it in the foot if you don;t need to.

3) Also, if legion is still being worked on, there is not much point discussing it if you don;t have anything to show.

4) Gun Jack more then likly was dirt cheap to make. Possibling using left over assets to speed up the process. If gun jack was dirt cheap, lets say $1m with a small team that did it on the side, and it can make up that $1m with not much effort, then thats not a bad thing and did not 'waste time'

5) Dust will eventually need to go someplace, either PC (which is where it SHOULD GO) or PS4 (which would be a mistake imo) but legion is coming. In one form or another.

6) not addressed in this thread, but even the dropping of the legion TM doenslt mean much. When EVR was shown the players wanted it. so CCP thought lighting might strike twice and was fully prepaired for it. the problem was, as we know now, they screwed up. Twitch chat at the time of the announcement was going crazy. it was not untill the dust community got there say that ccp backed off. EVE players what it on pc. Dust players what it on ps4.. what to do.

7) News will come eventually, even news of its death if thats the case. I don;t think ccp are in any hurry atm. Dust is making them money, and they are trying to stablize eve, and get valk out the door. We will see what happens at fan fest, but meh.

I got bored a couple days ago and took apart my ps3. I combined it with my pc and connected it with an internal Cap card. I now play dust 514 on pc and am able to join Teamspeak ect (PC STUFF). Still kinda ps3 but hey at least its thru my pc to do with what I want lol... I really wish they would say something about a port... Dust 514 will not survive much longer if next gen phases it out. ( I give it about a year and a half before its dead) A real shame considering its a great game..
