There is utter confusing here in Safizon as the condition of Empress Jamyl Sarum remains unknown after a Titan carrying the Empress was destroyed by Drifter Forces several hours ago.
The Empress was to attend the inauguration of the of the Imperial Flagship, the Auctoritas, at the Safizon headquarters of the Imperial Navy. Travelling in the Seraph, an Avatar class Titian, the Empress was believed to have been well protected and accompanied by a formidable escort.
Despite this the Seraph came under attack from a large Drifter force appearing almost immediately after the Empress arrived in Safizon. Imperial Guards attempted to intercept the attackers but the Drifter's use new tactics in their assault utilizing their superior speed to move straight for the Seraph, ignoring all other ships.
Within a matter of seconds the Seraph was completely engulfed and obliterated by simultaneous fire from the entire Drifter force. It is obvious that the Empress was the sole target and that once the Seraph had been destroyed the Drfters simply warped away without concern for any other ships present.
The speed and precision the Drifter's displayed while executing their plan seems to have stunned the Imperial Guard as they were unable to react in time to put up any defence during the short but devastating attack.
While Search and Rescue efforts are still under way there have been no announcements made, nor have we been able to confirm anything, regarding the whereabouts of Empress Jamyl Sarum.
We will of course keep on reporting as the situation develops.

I find it strange that drifters want the empress dead by all costs.
I bet she did something shady regarding them

I don't know. till they find and display the frozen body, I won't believe a word. She is a tricky one, that Jamyl.

Thats a good point. It's not the first time she been on a ship that's blown up she came back from the last one in one peace heh

It is a true shame that someone like her met such a destiny. She was a real prove for his will and his mercy.
A benefit to all amarrian men, women and every child.
She will be missed and grieved.
