The responses rapidly dropped into personal attacks on CCP Rouge on the first page would be the reason I imagine.
WoW has taught me that Purple means Legendary. This means Quafe suits are the optimal loadout for killing all of you.

Oh, got it, thank you. The topic didn't show any personal attack, they have probably been cancelled. As it is now it looks like it has been locked because it was praising CCP Rouge

CCP won't lock for praise, or even generalized b*tching. It's annoying to them I'm sure, but it's part of the job.
However when posts and responses devolve into directed personal attacks against a dev (and players usually) things tend to get a reaction.
It's literally the difference between, for example, saying
"This idea is pretty asinine. It deliberately singles out X people and it's not a good concept."
Versus...
" You are an idiot who f*cked over the playerbase with your Sh*t ideas."
The first is just an obnoxious opinion kinda like most of my posts. The second is bannable/lockable/Framestrike-able. Doesn't matter who it's pointed at really.
Unfortunate but it looks like a thank you thread got jacked so people could call Rouge a sh*t on the first page.
