The timer for the redline should be decreased.
Here is my reasoning for it.
There are plenty of games where the battle is one sided and the enemy pushes a team to its redline. Thats fine but whats not fair about it is that they can hack our own installations as well as camp spawn locations.
The redline is our last line of defence so we should spawn in and not have to worry about being camped or have to rehack our own installations.
Scouts have it to easy doing that as well as drop sships. Its way to unfair for an ADS to just hover over us taking cheep shots. The timer needs to limit anyone coming into the redline.
Decreasing the timer will help this sort of thing from getting out of hand. Its bad enough were being pushed to one side of the map. Besides if you complain about the redline timer just remember that you are not supposed to be in it to begin with and no reason will ever be great enough to change that.
I think the timer should be reduced to 5 seconds and thats plenty of time to get out if you cross on foot but if your going on vehicle then its your own stupidity that would get you killed. Like i said you dont need to be in our redline you already won the game if your pushing us back that far.
This should help scouts to be more utilized to do their job and place links down or hack CRUs.

No, just bring teleporters back from Dimension Dom. It usually kept matches flowing.
Also bring that deployment back where you could choose your own battle. It was the last time I stacked boosters and actually capped out.

The red line is far too forward in the battlefield to have a short timer, try using an ADS on Manus Peak Domination and you'll see what I mean

You're forgetting the timer is also used to counter other things like redline snipers. I think its perfect.

Like i said if you got the objective or objectives then your team has won the game. You do not need to kill anyone if you are in their redline.

I disagree with this as it will make red line players safer(those who sit on a turret taking pot shots all game or the many snipers).
Although if you want a nerf have the timer count down as usual but instead of instantly resetting have it count back up to the full timer which would prevent players from living in the red line. |

Edit:
Ok then instead of a timer nerf how about the enemy takes passive damage. So by the time it hits zero he has no health.
You could read this entire subject as "I was sniping from the redline after I gave up on a battle and an ADS killed/tried to kill me, and I think its unfair that i can't get some cheap risk free kills after abandoning the front line"
The redline should be done away with all together, more initial spawn points should be created so that a team can't be camped into the MCC and one other point.

railtanks and snipers would sit just infront of it and back through it the moment they take any damage, no doubt a few would figure out how to sit halfway through it and like head glitching be untouchable.

Iv got another idea.
Take the redline away but have mcc on both teams rotate slowly around the map. Both being equal distance from the center.
Then they can put a boarder redline but anyone can get to any spot and not have to worry about redline snipers.
Also have multiple spawn points and each spawn point will have a precison scan that can detect even scouts with highest damp to prevent spawn camping. The radius of the scan can be 10 to 15 meters.

Redline timers are not the problem.
Map design that for some reason never ends and has terrible set spawn locations are the problem.
Best case scenario at this point is to make redlines apply to every one and provide more "home spawns" with better locations. These would probably have to rotate around a little bit but that should take care of a lot of camping issues.
