Actually, even if you had the fastest finger in world, a mod would be better because you can program it to be faster.

doesn't matter how fast your trigger finger is, even if your finger was faster then the stated ROF capping would make you go over and shots would stutter as it does with the combat rifle making you fire less shots if you dont time it perfectly something that can easily be done with a modded controller

and lets not forget that there are external mods that can be added to controllers to make more use of your available digits essentially allowing to fire twice as fast without actually having to run any scripts or writing any code/buying something with pre written code

also a mouse button can easily be fired faster then a controller while being able to set macros to fire at an exact rate without having to take your finger off the button or even just pressing it once

regardless of all that not many people even know how to do such things and a lot of the ones that do don't use it simply because it ruins the game or they are simply too lazy or are not willing to make the investment to get the resources needed to do so

there is no reason why a weapon should have the same fire rate as a full auto weapon and do more damge, in practice weapons that have burst fire options or full auto usually fire faster then the semi auto variants in most games as well as in real life

in dust we have some really messed up logic that doesn't even reflect the logic of the EvE universe well, removing aim assist would justify it to a point as it would actually take skill to land shots and the added kick would make it hard for anyone to take advantage of the max RoF, kick doesnt really make much of a difference when your bullets magnetize to your target

You could have the same exact idea but use EVE in one and leave it out in another and people will disagree with the first because you mentioned EVE.



Don't ever say EVE if you want people to listen to you (even though they get a lot of freakin things right that can easily be translated for DUST purposes)

I wish they would raise the firing cap on the Ion Pistol. Right now I tend to overheat it after the first shot without fail unless I fire meticulously slow.

after the first shot? and it's not a charge shot or directly after a charge shot? if not then that's just weird

went 26-3 with dual creodron ion pistols the other day but a 90k fit just for messing around with sidearms is too expensive for the likes of me.
