What do you all think of this setup?
Logistics GK.0
Complex Shield x3 Complex Ferroscale x3 Enhanced Armor Rep x2
Ishukone Assault RR Core Locus Grenade
Credron Flux Active Scanner x2 Compact Nano
It has decent tank. It's fast as it has no speed penalties. It has decent armor regen. It has a versatile weapon that works well in close-quarters to medium range combat which happens to be max skilled. It has Core Locus Grenades because why not? It's also capable of permascanning any suit up to 200m that does not have a profile below 20db, and it has decent nanohives that help to keeping it supplied with ammo and health.
What do you all think? Is it okay for a combat Logi? |

Looks fine. Though, you may consider switching the compact nanohive for a regular nanohive and one of the shield extenders for a Complex Light Damage Modifier.

Not bad, though when I think combat logi I think Amar. Having that side armr slot really helps you finish people off and gives you a wider range of options in killing people. Plus only having 3 equipment slots is fine if your not planning on be full on logi.
My cheaper fits usually go: 'Seraph BPO suit' cost 27.7k
1X Enhance shield extender 2x Krin dmg mod 2x Basic armor plates 1xBasic Reactive plate 1x Complex armor rep 1x Complex Shield regulator Ec-3 Assault Mass driver Toxin Submachine gun flux grenade whisper rep tool cannibal injector X-3 quantium nano hive
The logi parts are pretty basic, just using the rep tool and injector that came with the suit but the CPU/PG isn't there to do better on an apex.
Using a full proto suit you can obviously do better, but not by to much and they cost like 5 times as much. On a day to day basis this is the suit I like to use in pub matches or PC/FW that I can trust people not to run into my fire. It gets a few kills here and there, lots of assist and destroys enemy equipment. Great support/logi set up imo. The nan hives which are so critical to keeping the mass driver barrages going also help restock your team. Gives great support fire and helps break into those fortified objectives.
I also run other weapons, usually in PC or FW in where I have to worry a little more about FF. Then I tend to use a assault scram riffle or something else more accurate.

Well In my case it's because of the bandwidth. I can still keep my uplinks on the field if I stay in a logi suit while half of them would disappear if I went assault. Some one has to put down uplinks and I've realized a long time ago if it's not me no one will in most matches.

What do you all think? Is it okay for a combat Logi? Ditch the shield extenders, precision enhancers/ jump mods will save you 9/10 times, also try the regular combat rifle, if you can figure out the burst timing you can fire it like a full auto and just cut everyone down instantly

A logi should never use a damage mod since the role is more healing orientated. To each their own but i focus on staying alive longer.

I use:
Logistics gk.0
x4 Complex Ferroscale Plates x1 Complex Armor Repair
x1 Complex Shield Extender x2 Complex Precision Enhancers (holy crap I see everything up close)
Duvolle Assault Rifle Creodron Ion Pistol Allotek Flux Grenade
Stable Viziam Uplinks (Stable Variant used to be Allotek Industries :( ) Allotek Nanohives Complex Nanite Injector Complex Active Scanner of my choice
Creodron suit SKIN
IIRC it has 555 armor and 184 shields. I don't need a lot of health to survive.

Looks solid. I'd go all the way and use 4 ferroscales and 1 repairer. Heal myself with the Allotek or K17/D Nanohive, or if there's plenty of CPU/PG use 2 nanohives: the Wyrkomi for full armor heal and a regular one for ammo. Can't remember how many equipment slots Gallente has but probably is 4, so the rest should be your scanner and another equipment of choice: I'd probably choose the triage tool just because logi. I too prefer stacking shields instead of damage mods. ARR is a great option because it's very good on its own and doesn't need a sidearm most of the time. |
