- Snipe infantry when not otherwise occupied. Optimum range ~75-100 meters.

Used like that the gunner won't catch much fire. A Caldari Sentinel should do well enough as long as you don't stay static for more than a few seconds to avoid snipers.

I don't think the effectiveness of a rail LAV is high enough to make this actually competitive, but it is fun.

It takes around three plc shots to get through the hardened shields. By that time, it's long gone. The beach fg takes up to four shots due to shields regenerating between shots. It's a beast. What's the cost of the lav? you're looking at nearly 200k, probably closer to 150. And take off the turret - the real beauty of this car is it's ability to survive, not gun people down. :3

We ran circles around the tank, eating swarm after swarm, plowing into its shields with our rail turret. Hardeners ran out, so we duck and dove between hills and vanished into the outpost to shoot down two dropships and a lav, and around 20 infantry. xD Youtube: Dust 514 - You should Have Worn Proto Dueling is my specialty
