What if there was a set of Squad Booster skills that can be trained to allow a Squad Leader give boosts to his squad mates who are within a certain proximity to him, say 50m as an arbitrary number?
Examples: - Shield Recharge Booster: additional increased rate of recharge for shields - Shield Extender Booster: additional % shield hitpoints
- Armor Recharge Booster: additional recharge amount ( or faster recharge cycle) for armor repairers
- Stamina Recharge Booster: additional rate of recharge to stamina - Stamina Extender Booster: additional % to total stamina
The thing I'm not sure about is should these be a passive skills that applies once you have it .... or .... should the skills be used to unlock Squad Booster modules for the dropsuit?
If it was the former, then a Squad Leader who spends the SP to learn all the skills would be one helluva booster to the squad since all boosters would apply.
If it was the latter, then the Booster skills applied would be limitied to what Booster Modules the Squad Leader was able to fit on his suit.

I agree it would be a nice add. Things like +5% to your reload and such would be great.

Currently in EVE there is a Ship type called Command SHips which provide fleet bonuses to improve certain stats. Being as there is a Command Dropsuit that has not been seeded yet I can only imagine the same thing will be in place. Just give it some time and the all will unfold. |

I'm thinking that suit will be for MCC pilots. Like, a Platoon Booster.
It would be great to have squad boosters too! I like the module idea too, like a gang link. |

Something like this is already on the way There will be command roles & bonuses to go along with them. Not next build. But SoonTM. |

A booster for MCC and squads would be great. Great thread. something that really needs to be thought about. |

The Command Ship in EVE is just a ship that get's bonuses to certain booster modules. Just like in EVE, these booster bonuses will come from the character's skills, not their suit. I may seem like a trivial difference, but it really is a very important point. In EVE, I give the same level of boosts whether I am in my Atron (T1 Frigate) or I am in my Golem (T2 Battleship). Now, if I am in my Absolution (T2 Command Ship), I can fit modules that will augment my squad boosts, but my character still needs to have the leadership skills to provide those boost to begin with.
