Are we getting this or no? My Proto commando with 2 pro weapons and 3 complex modules has compact nanohive and two basic reactive plates (Because they have literally no resource cost and these are the only things I could fit).
Oh, btw CCP. that cpu/pg reduction to light weapons did close to nothing.

As I understand it, we'll be getting another skill to invest points into that will increase PG/CPU. I could be wrong though, so don't take that as a truth. When Rattati conceded that commandos were sub-optimal, and thus buffed a bunch of base-line stats *and* the slot count across all tiers, I think he wanted to leave PG/CPU numbers alone so that they could be the primary balancing factor that stops the suit from becoming overpowered. I think he's called it right, but a skill that allows for moderate increases in fitting potential at a large cost in SP would be a nice way to allow commando players like myself to really specialize.
But who knows? It's a quiet time for Devs. I'm guessing we'll start getting some proper communication as to what's coming next patch within the next two weeks.

That skill would simply make everything else OP. All my proto suits (Non Commando) can fit pretty much everything proto. It's just commando that is a POS. Even with maxes cores I'm fitting on the lowest resource modules on a proto commando. People don't realize how much CPU and PG snipers and rail rifles take up on my Commando ck.0.

Commandos are (finally) in a sweet spot right now, I'd much rather have assaults, and in particular the suit bonuses, looked at again because most of them are pretty lacking right now.
