I used to be able to get 5 keys by completing just 2 missions. Sometimes even got 8 keys in one day. Now it's gone and all I see is rewards for strongboxes for half the missions.....wtf

Lucky you. I have never been able to get more than 3 keys from missions and usually it's just 1 from the default.
That being said, recently I've been seeing missions that "reward" me with several boxes and nothing else(no SP and no ISK). |

Yeah definitely getting at least 5 strong boxes on almost every match. I think I've earned about 500 in the last 2 or 3 days between mission rewards being strongboxes and the salvage. The 5 key rewards for completing X amount of missions I haven't seen in months and the multiple key rewards from missions is rather rare. 99% of the time if there is a second key mission rewards it's tied to activate the instant booster 2-5 times.

There was a mission like 69 kills gets you 2 keys or 108k sp in a day got u a key

It was random, some times it was easy. I remember one of the best ones I ever had was win 1 battle to get a key like always, but the win 1 battle was listed again to get another key. Then something like join 3 matches got me a key, plus complete 5 daily missions got me 5 keys. 8 keys a day was pretty common back then, now your lucky to get 2 or 3. Plus in the last 3-4 months of playing pub matches pretty regularly (I'm farming war barge components to level my stuff) I have never gotten a key as salvage. People say it's possible but in probably thousands of matches I've gotten nothing since I pretty much always hit my weekly cap in the last few months.

Yeah nothing makes me feel like turning the game off and not playing that day than seeing something like get 19 vehicle kill assist or destroy 15 installations to get like 5 boxes and no SP or isk at all. In terms of mission rewards one strong box seems to equal thousands of isk and SP in equivalent value. At least if you compare the missions you get nothing but strong boxes vs ones where you get other rewards.
