The following has long been an idea of mine and i know it is a bit controversial but... here it is:
Guns in general: Should have passive effects that can only be healed by a logi.
Regen statistics: After the delay stats are over they should be constant untill dammaged (similar to a logis reps)
Logis: Need a shield repairer.
Now for the passive effects that make sense to me:
NOTE: YOU CANNOT SWITCH AT A SUB DEPT TO DEACTIVATE THESE.
Hybrid type weaponry(includes forges): Should completely disable reps of both types. Can only be reactivated when you have gotten FULLY recharged by a logi.
Bullet based weaponry (includes minmatar explosives): This one is a bit obvious but they should cause passive bleeding dammage to THE CLONE ITSELF (doesnt matter if shields are recharged. your clone is bleeding, thus causing armor to slowly dwindle down. cant outrep this, however you can slightly negate the effects by being regen based) This is healed when you are injected with a needle. The more shrapnel from explosives or more bullets a target takes, the more bleeding dammage he takes. THIS HAS A CAP.
Laser(obvious): causes passive burning dammage to armor. same healing mechanism as the bleeding dammage, except that the suits max armor is now reduced untill fully healed by a logi. The more you get hit by lasers the worse the effect. THIS ALSO HAS A CAP. Shield regen is also slower. As stated before this effect would have a cap.
Plasma based weaponry(obvious but includes ARs): Completely disables shields once you eat through them, untill of course you are fully recharged by a logi. This effect has no cap, however it resets back to normal upon death. Impossible to outregen the shield denial obviously.
Your thoughts guys :3? These effects are open to debate as to what they are and what they do but these are the ones that make the most sense to me. Also excuse spelling errors. I dont use autocorrect or spelling suggestions at all and im on a tablet.

the passive dammage effects would only be minimal in the first place. and i said the effects have a cap to not make them op can you not read?

I would like to think that it wouldnt effect cloakies. I mean an electromagnetic force field would obviously deflect bullets irl... Why not in dust?

Also im pretty sure that the passive effects would be proportional to the suit.

possibly the cloak would be scrambled. lasers dealing extra dmg with shields in dust come to mind when you asked this.
