Now they all have the same slot layout, tag them APX please, killing PRO should be quite satisfactory.

I actually think they should class them Basic suits now. I hate when I see Proto show up in the HUD only to find out it is just an "APEX" BPO (bought or earned) They are no different than the original BPO's with the slot layout how it is now. |

They have increased fitting over STD BPOs, between STD and ADV tier fitting capabilities.
Khanid Logi and Tanker, sometimes AV Heavy or Sniper.

Exactly what I was thinking reading the OP. One could even argue that having the pro tag gives them an advantage if someone rounds a corner and sees 4 "pro" suits and retreats even tho they are just BPOs.

Am I playing a different game than other people? When I round a corner and see one guy coming at me, I don't have time to hover over and see what the info says at the bottom right of the screen AND shoot or run before he's shot me down. It's enough that I can either worry about aiming or turn to run. Backpedal often runs me into a wall.
Four guys coming at me is bad even if they are all militia. Four guys can shoot you down easy enough no matter what you are wearing unless lag is on your side and you pull a dance dance revolution around them.

I was accused of needing my proto crutch. I was running my Shaman Logi with basic and advanced modules, and an Exo-5 MD. 
Yes, should read APEX rather than PRO. Then again, I still think suits shouldn't read 'Invalid String ID' either, lol.

Meta level data (just the basic numbers) would be a lot more useful for HUD tags, Kill-feed, and death screen.

I usually check the tacnet intel as I engage, usually if you're not engaging at your own leisure you're already in a bad spot. Skins and the like make engagement more of a challenge than it was. Used to be, bad guys wore black and everyone else was puppy chow.

You have to round those corners with your escape route in mind. Generally I check for secondary cover and pie off the corner before just blindly running around it to see what is there. Also never turn the corner directly against the wall, you should be a few steps off the wall to make sure that no matter what going for cover does not result in you getting stuck.
