so I have usually run in the same fits the obvious fits for a solo player, I never really cared much for playing outside of the norms besides when I am just playing for laughs, but recently I have decided to change things up on account of things getting too repetitive and the lack of action that matches have now a day for me
I have started using an active scanner on my covenent sniper fit instead of a nanohive and I switched my smg for a magsec as well as switching a regulator for a damp so I have two damps and a regulator and an advanced scanner, all highs are filled with extenders except for one which has a precision mod, everything is std other then the scanner
It's not the best suit to play seriously in but it does allow for counter sniping and to keep the team engaged where you need them while giving sight to those that seem to be completely blind I dont blame newbros for this but if you are in a proto suit and let a scout run right in front of you without reacting then you need to get your eye's checked out
along with this I have actully used a somewhat troll fit for serious ranged engagement, duel mlt PLC's on a std caldari commando no jumpy troll fit I actually use extenders and regulators, it isnt that hard to get kills after you realize that people dont know how to react to something that is not often used in such a way and you can lead your shots and make them run right into your plasma if you can switch and fire fast enough
most of my other fits are traditional ones such as a minja a passive permascan cal scout armor tanked amarr sent shiled tanked cal sent and other such fits, but I also have certain fits that I use only in certain situations such as a cal sent counter sniper and a gal scout recon sniper, along with a cal commando with a mass driver and a jump fit cal scout that I only use when someone is camping a hard to reach spot or has placed links in hard to reach places
TL:DR I have many fits but have recently switched some stuff around to things I don't often use
I would like to know how you mercs deal with each situation you encounter and how you adapt to survive and slaughter

All i run are shotgun scouts. Or knives. Or dual burst scramblers. Or speed non myo assisted plc scouts. Or my frontline suit. Or just my apex dragon scout with every combo of weapons i can imagine.

I feel like fitting choices are limited to only few good and rest for fun.
Besides that, I keep lower amount of fittings for "better" performance if it even works.
Ps. Jumpy minmando with MD/Swarms is good for overwatch. Much easier to evade missiles from enemy ADS and potential infantry.
