Spank a Tankers Bank while risking 0 of you own ISK with this handy mutually assured destruction tactic. Not a valid tactic for K/D carebears.
If you somehow missed my original video of the APEX-LAV-BOOM strat here's me getting 4 tanks kills with it in 1 game.

Nothing overly new, I'd hope to see some better tactics on how to use the LAV. Missed out on really telling people where to place them and such. For instance in FW the remotes don't have to be on the front since the vehicle explosion will set them off. This is good because having them on your rear/sides helps prevent premature detonation due to small arms fire. I love shooting a sub machine gun at explosive lavs and watching them blow up fright after 'equipment destruction' pops up.
I'd also recommend shield LAV's if you have them. Their more squishy to enemy fire but they blow up real easy on impact, making things like the end of this video less likely to happen, aka ramming the tank at slow speeds and not blowing up. Additionally in FW since one remote will blow them all up, and your vehicle you could also have just jumped out of the LAV and detonated the remote after it was parked up against the tank if you kept at least one of the remote types on your apex suit. It might cost you 1.5k to have a basic remote on your apex logi but it's worth it for those kinds of situations.
Sadly LAV's are perhaps the best way to take out Proto tanks right now and you'll probably die less than if you try to chase them down on foot with swarms, PLC's or forge guns. If the tanks themselves don't get you all the infantry around them will.

I think I mentioned that having the remotes in the corners was actually optimal, but none the less, thanks for your input it's great to hear from an xpert LAV user. I will copy/edit/paste your advice into my video's comment section.

suicide is not always necessary, its actually a lot more rewarding to just park it next to the tank and hope out and blow the RE's. Obviously easier on those tankers that don't pay much attention outside of where the barrel is pointed but I've managed it against an active threat before.
Acquisition is terrible, matchmaking is terrible, your game is still riddled with bugs, you should feel bad.

You went against noobs then, a real tanker wouldn't allow you the time.

Well I did allow for that by not stating it as an absolutely iron clad way of doing it. I even used the example of it working best on a tanker with tunnel vision. But hey way to contribute to the discussion.

Parking next to em and blowing up works well enough even on better tankers if their already at a complete stand still or in a cramped location like a city. Heck most tanks just try and run a LAV over and blow themselves up when they see one. That said I wouldn't go out of your way to do it just to try and stay alive, once your on foot your most likely going to die any way to enemy fire if your in a cheap apex logi fit deep in enemy lines. At least suicide denies the enemy team a kill.

For sure there's not really much gain from it but fun is fun either way. These days my primary AV fit will feature a PLC, maybe a few prox mines to panic them into for the harder tanks.

Jihad is no longer an effective and valid tactic really. You can get kills with it but in normal situation, you would spend whole battle trying to destroy just one tank

Well that could be said for almost any form of AV really. If the tank or DS user is willing to run away at the first sign of dmg, or just never stops in the first place you could spend the whole match chasing that one vehicle. Dying a ton of times in the process and if your AV suit is halfway decent with a few proto weapons or AV grenades your losing 50k+ a pop. At least with the LAV you can take out most tanks with little to no loss.
No real free way to take out DS though, other than perhaps camping a red line rail gun turret.
