so there I am with a Symb's fork sniper rifle, a red dot is out of my range, a guy a few metres behind me kills him with a state sniper rifle.
I got killed today by a kaalakiota tactical sniper rifle from 437m, I can't get a red reticule on someone from that far away.
EDIT: Maybe this is normal and I'm completely wrong, not much of a complaint just an observation, blue tag? |

TAC - 350m
Charge/Symbs - 400m
Regular/Thales - 450m
I have a maxed out sniper accont and I label my ranges on each fit. Thales is my fave rifle, best range, great damage, and if a counter sniper is picking you off he's always in your range.

The tac has that much range? I couldnt peg anything over 200m without it noy showing even a hitmarker. The dot never even turned red.....

Symbs is my favorite sniper because it has little recoil compared to thales.

I've killed with the tac out to about 240 - fairly sure I've never had a red marker over 250 though. |

what if the ranges never changed on the aurum variants? I suggest you compare the Horizon kaalakiota to the isk one and see if there is any difference.

Concrete example that dust is pay to win. If it is indeed the case, it was because it was overlooked. It would be pay to win if there was intent to leave it with that range but i think it was just a case of someone forgetting. I could be wrong, im hoping im not.

Protofits has the ranges for the Horizon and Vanilla Sniper Rifles the same, both at 450m.
Can't check in game, at work.

oh, that's a 'Horizon' Kaalakiota Sniper Rifle...which is actually a variation of the Standard Type Sniper Rifle, not a tactical.
