I was there for the tac rifle slaughter fests way back in the beginning and what i'm asking for will not return it to that OP state. If you don't want modified controllers than you have to ban keyboards too. I would really really really really really really like to see keyboards removed from this console shooter. The macros for a programmable keyboard blow away anybodys modded controller or human thumbs period.

How much faster do you want it be? No more range. RoF is what will get that thing abused. The reason the thing kicks like it does is to try and prevent what we had before and what originally lead to the weapon getting needed so hard it became useless. I think it should be better in CQC then the ScR but I think that could be done by lowering the spread a little for the TAR and increasing it for the ScR. The kick is what makes the weapon but for balancing purposes I agree, although the SCR kicks like a ***** but I guess is more powerful than the TAC, so with that in mind, the TAC doing less damage than the SCR and kicking less, I would say it's even. But to balance it against breach, burst, regular ar? Yeh I think it needs a tiny bit less kick. but then comes the tradeoff, what will be increased (in a bad way) if the kick is decreased? I'd rather it stay as it is than have the gun suffer in another way

Yeah you get a charge shot but It'd be better to just spam R1 to use less heat plus not overheating is such a positive for the TAR after 2 years of maining the ScR. But to each their own. While I was using only my PS3 controller in Dust , I was accused of using a turbo controller only because I 've had good kills with the Tac Ar. Lol some Dust player these days are paranoid
