Just tossing some ideas around.
Brand new assets aren't likely to spring into the game anytime soon, but nothings stopping us from discussing them anyways.
Different Rep Variants I have in mind.
-Shield Tool (Power Charger)
Has been asked for since beta. However I think just having a blue rep tool that works on shields is a little un-inspired; I think it needs to function a bit differently.
Instead of 'repping' shields I think it should act as a hardener, making shields XX% stronger if you have the beam on a target.
Stacking would need to be balanced, as multiple shield tools on a target would eventually make the target 100% resistant.
My solution is to give the tool a sort of 'cooldown'. When targeting a heavy, your tools charge will begin to deplete (like a cloak when activated) as the heavy takes damage.
When your charge reaches zero, you will have to stop, and press square to 'charge' your tool back to 100%.
When you are being hardened by a logi, your shield bar with pulsate blue
- Damage Amplifier Tool
More or less, imagine a red beamed rep tool, which causes your target to do XX% more damage.
When this tool is on you, your ammo bar would pulsate red as an indicator.
A heavy would be truly menacing with three different beams super charging him: reps, shield hardener, and damage. Badass. However you would be removing three guns from the team, a worthy trade off?

It would be nice if the caldari logis had a buff that would go with this if it was added.+5% charge capacity per level?

A shield hardening rep tool would definitely help shields, they are seriously in a bad spot right now. I am a bit unsure on the charging mechanic, depending on fast the recharge is. If it is slow, your target and you will be dead. If it is too fast, there would be screams for nerfs.

I want a splash heal
Like a mass driver or plasma cannon, but it shoots bursts of nanites that heal a small amount in an area.
...you know, if officer repair tools with 3 beams never become a thing.

One of the key things to look at when considering new equipment is avoiding the mistakes made in creating the current equipment. Highly seated among them is the question of rewards.
Firstly determining what the mechanic is for awarding WP. Second determining what the rate is for awarding WP. Thirdly determining the degree and method of scaling the rate/degree of earnings from STD through PRO. Fourthly determining if a support player properly fulfilling their role by using the new equipment under those mechanics provides sufficient earnings potential to reasonably allow the average player to break even while using it. [Example: Running a not combat kitted proto suit in a pub frequently costs around 200k per death with 2-5 deaths not being at all uncommon]
I'm doing several things at once so I don't have added variant ideas to toss out just this minute, but I wanted to make sure the above vital aspect is included in this conversation o7

I think the shield rep tool should be a big pulse centered on the user that instantly recharges everyone's shields back to full with a moderate cooldown. Range increases through the tiers, CalLogi gets a bonus to range and cooldown.
Think of it as an inverse flux grenade.
Over thinking, over analyzing separates the body from the mind.

For whatever reason, I dont like the idea of a damage amplifying tool. I guess it just seems to go against the whole "guardian" aspect of the thing. The shield repair tool would help with the shield and armor balance, but there would still be a lot of work to be done. Finally, yeah, the shield repair tool should have its own unique properties and not just be a reskin. Maybe that should include some sort of reworking for the armor repair tool.

I like the shield Idea, an alternative or variant could be an increase to recharge rate.
