Talked to them and explain why as a black person, as an african person (1st gen of my familiy rasied in the states) where the roots of that word come from and why its offensive and specifically a racially pointed insult at black people. You should hear how she reacted to being called a hon key. She's white trash. Dumb, racist, white trash.

I mean yeah when frustrated people tend to lash out, and when they lash out with the intent of upsetting someone they'll go for the low hanging fruit (insulting someone's skin color. sexual orientation or sexual characteristics are usually successful which is why they go for them).

Even I do this when I get really frustrated (though I try not to rage too hard) - but if you voice in almost any major channel or any squad, you'll hear someone going off about how everyone who kills them is gay, [insert minority] or etc, and usually it is quite obnoxious. More reasonable people will usually apologize if they offend someone, unreasonable people will blame you for being offended.

That said, there are the permanently offended out there who do try to police others language / humor and they need to get bent.

Well, i've squadded with she-devil plenty enough not to bad mouth her. Help her out with her tanking and stuff. I know plenty of people who some might call honkeys, (poor white people exist?shocking!!! ), and they are all really good people. Its not even the laguange that made me drop. It was the reasoning/justification behind it.


Theres a large difference between policing language, and talking it out with somebody (especially in a squad, we are helping each other ffs) why what ever anybody said was messed up. Either you can learn, or be polite enough to at least listen, and respect the guys you are playing with. Aint gonna change what you say by force, because your a free human being and can say what ever the hell you like in your channel, in your squad, in your life.
