 I've been flying dropships since beta, but just recently i decided i'd skill into links and amarr logis to further take advantage of the power of flight. The bonus for amarr logis says it gives a ten percent reduction to spawn time per level (50% max) but this doesn't seem to actually be the case. From what i can tell, theres no difference in spawn time.

 Links are broken so is the Amarr Logi bonus and Timers. It's really iffy. CCP doesn't seem interested in fixing it either...

 Pretty sure that the Amarr Logi bonus only applies for as long as you're alive. So if you put down Amarr Logi links in the hopes of using them when someone snipes you off the roof, I'm afraid you won't get to experience the joys of your bonus. Only the other people on your team.

 Double post, the bonus works for uplinks, not your spawn time.

 As long as you don't put any 15 second long uplinks on the battle field we good... Actually anything over ten seconds and you shouldn't even bother bringing that **** out.. Actually if you don't have 3 second uplinks return that **** to the marketplace because it is straight trash...

 I've heard that you get different spawn times depending on how long you lay on the ground for after you die. For example, if you wait out the full 20 or so seconds until bleedout, most of the links take only 3 seconds to spawn you in.

I'll test this, but generally, you can short spawn timer if your clone was permanently terminated by explosive or headshot.
 
 I'm more annoyed at how often i can't cancel my deployment.

 the 3 seconds are if your clone hasn't been terminated if it has it will take you longer to spawn, this is why you should always terminate clones not so much for the clone count but it keeps them out longer

 Spawn timers begin counting down as soon as you die if your clone is NOT terminated. That count continues to count down until your clone is terminated or the timer reaches the 3 second minimum. This is designed to encourage waiting a few seconds minimum for a pick up but since there is nothing clarifying any of the mechanics in this game it is useless.

 Even when it worked at its best the system was flawed, for a start the actual logi gained no direct and personal benefit from his links skill as when you died, the links reset back to regular spawn in times.
 
 After I think CCP changed some of the spawn times around right?

 Everyone that has said it only applies until you die or switch suits was correct. It is considered to be by design and working as intended by CCP. Unfortunately they disagree with our opinions that it is a bad design.

 I didn't think so. Amarr Logi is no exception

 Just respec and go Minmatar everything. Your kd will climb, you will be both armor and shield against all weapons, you're faster than every other suit on the field (even scouts.... CCP wtf?!), and against gallente and amarr you'll be a straight up hard counter while staying far faster than Caldari, and having enough shield to escape their armor based weaponry. You also have enough armor to escape shield based weaponry.
 
 CCP has made them amazing at everything, with the best weapons, and better than all the races in the other races primary zones.
 
 Why are you trying to make the amarr logi work as intended when you can just go Minmatar?
