You can just hide the user's posts. It at least keeps the forums looking a little neater than if their posts are being shown.

I don't believe you were the one I was replying to, it's rude to put yourself into two peoples conversation.
On the not of what your saying, your overly and actively recruiting. Regardless of how you tailor the response to the topic, it's still recruiting and there is a place for that here on the Dust forums. If your having trouble finding it, I will be more then happy to provide you with a link.
Also, why not utilize your signature for recruiting purposes instead of turning every post into it? "Join my corp" is not a proper response to every thread submitted.
That would be like going into a topic titles "My Toe Hurts", then saying:
"I believe in the dust community and personally I feel your pain. But there is a place where you can get consoled, where friends will be there to help you through this hard time.... Join my corp and we will give you band-aids, cookies, and hugs! Here you will find a nurturing family to help you with that hurt toe and maybe even save your whole foot!"
See what I did there? I'm on topic but the means of my end is still recruiting, and it's not really a proper response.

True, but I can't stand hiding or ignoring anyone. They may annoy me, but there may come a point in time where I'll actually appreciate something they have to say, and I want to be able to see it when it happens. Hiding posts just feels kind of childish, anyway, you know? At least to me. Like they've mildly upset you so you're just going to plug your ears whenever they talk, no matter what they may have to say. |

Bro, there's no comparison here. My corp has had ten of thousands of players come and go, all supporting the same faction - Amarr. Our chat is quiet and pleasant and there's never anyone in the corp fighting and arguing.
