I imagine the matchmakers bias towards domination is player generated, as it took longer and longer to get into matches ppl just naturally started going for the one that would queue in a reasonable amount of time.
So what I suggest as a fix to allow people to get into the match type they'd prefer is to bring the special events tab to life again.
In the past it was used for people at gaming conventions to join a match and for us to play in those matches, we should bring them back into use again for each mode of play in each region.
Theres plenty of drawbacks to this, the main one i can think of is that you'd get a lot of the same players and teams camping out on them, but hell, I just want to play skirmish, if theres enough dedicated servers available on the special events tab you can work around that.
They would get used and make a lot of people happy, but i dunno if 12 dedicated mode servers being kept up all the time would be taxing on CCPs resources or not, but its worth asking for.

I'm surprised this topic didn't even get some negative feedback, am I the only one that misses playing skirmish without a 10min+ wait?
