I can probably win easy with a couple of mails sent out but I know I do not have the dedication to this game anymore. Please trolls do not take this as **** talk I am just stating my position.
I would not be willing to fly to the other side of the world for this game.
I would not be willing to go to Iceland for this game even tho I would probably go there for the Eve side and not even talk about Dust.
Even tho I spend about 18 hours a day on skype for work I would not be willing to put aside a ***** of that work for this game anymore.
I would likely end up like Judge and rage quitting if I knew the actual future.
I have stopped caring about this community. At this point I have accepted Dust as 3 kinds of people and I only relate to one so I just could not represent the community outside of the small part I know I relate with.
Best of luck to all of you running for CPM I hope the best of intentions win and positively shape the future of our existence in New Eden. o7
To all CPM candidates: If you want to talk on skype feel free to message me your skype info in game. IF I agree with your platform I will gladly support you to the members of the alliance which I lead. I will not accept bribes or anything else and do not wish to auction of my support as I probably have more ISK than you any way. I will record and screen shot those conversations to either help you or hurt you based on what you say I only wish to see a CPM that will put this game on a better direction which is saying a lot after the great work which our current CPM has managed to do under the circumstances.
Remove NPC orbitals from FW. -- Fix orbital timers for Eve players assisting in Planetary Conquest.

Eh I don't seem to care about who runs for President of my country, I don't think I care who makes CPM for about the same reasons. Illusion of power to make the masses happy. I don't think CPM's have half the say in the game that people might think. So yeah I can agree that the amount of work involved would not be worth the effort. Since far as I know you do it all for free, with only in game rewards and maybe paid trips to Iceland as a reward. I've obviously not looked into it to much but yeah, seems like a bum deal.
Plus Dust is what 3 years old now and many things play like the original beta we had years ago. I like this game, it's an interesting take on FPS we haven't really seen any where else and it's free. Personally I've spent a little money on this game and a ton of time, so I'm not just free loading but honestly I can't see much of a future. Lack of next gen or PC support hurts the game long term. After all the PS3 can't be in production forever and everything points to it going out some time before 2016 ends and this game isn't on anything else.
Even a sequel wouldn't exactly work considering the huge amounts of time and effort went into building characters for this game. The grind kind of was the point of this game and a large portion of the fan base wouldn't be prepared to start from scratch if characters didn't cross over.
So honestly it's looking like this years CPM's might honestly be the last batch and you can't really expect them to have the ability to make a difference even if they wanted to.

To do the job right requires a lot of time and effort. I don't need a second, unpaid job. I have a lot of respect for the guys who can make that commitment and follow through. I suspect more than a few of the CPM2 candidates aren't really prepared to put in the work required (even if they think they are).

I am still in Red Omen on Dust which was removed from the alliance yesterday. Thanks for pointing that out tho as I need to get online and move my character to the executor corp.
