With the elections underway, im writing this post to give a little more information on who i am inside the game and out and what i hope to bring to the CPM2 team if elected.
Im 29 and from the United Kingdom, video gaming is very much my main hobby, along with gaming of all different types along with film television and reading on several subjects(mainly military history). Dust 514 has dominated my gaming schedule since its closed beta over 3 years ago i also spend a lot of time playing Eve Online. Ive sampled all different playstyles, corporate roles and game modes in that time, though these days you'll mostly see me in Caldari and Ammar FW and occasionally a few public contracts, i still play a variety of roles on the battlefield though im mainly using Scouts and Heavy dropsuits.
Im a co-founder and adminstrator of State Task Force a moderated Caldari FW in game chat channel and Director of a new Caldari FW Corp ,i also do a fair amount of orbital striking and PVP in EVE FW. Im definatley a player that enjoys co-ordinating with others and the satisfying success through tactics and teamwork that can result from it.
I beleive my constant activity and precence within the game is a strong attribute in a candidate as if nothing else u can count on me to be playing the same game and dealing with same issues as you every time you log in.
My candicay is largely centered around my own endearment towards this game and its community, wanting to see it blossom and grow further, creating a deeper sense of agency and variety within a vibrant lore driven universe.
I believe i can be an indespensible asset to the CPM through a few factors, firstly being that i have several years experience working in a team that was largely focused on improving customer experience almost soley based on customer feedback and demand. This gives me the communication, interpersonal and analytical skills needed to help the team gather feedback and digest it in a way thats efficient,concise and productive. I also have experinece in data management and would relish the oppurtunity to access and analyse some of the raw data dust generates to help provide a better view as to whats occuring inside the game.
I hope to host regular community debates talks and discussions in various mediums from forum to podacst and video and most of the notes and content from these dicussions to be displayed publically to help improve the CPM-community transparency and to gather feedback on the CPM process itself.
Some of the main issues i would mainly like to discuss and engage with are as follows
- Progress of PC 2.0, limiting exploits, promoting conflict and assessing activity and functionality
- Large scale patch to Factional Warfare covering various points but overall making the mode more attractive and more consequential within the New Eden universe
- "power core" concept and other possible ways to improve performance and scope for expansion
- Assessing the progress of public contract matchmaking, as well as loot drops and payouts.
- Pushing for expanded list of tradeables and perhaps a more secure method of trading items
- Expansion of LP Store with more unique items and assessment of prices vs payouts
- More Lore-bound events with goals and rewards that appeal to the wider community as well as more competitive events akin to the Officer naming events
- Promoting regualar assessment of gear balance as well as looking at the relation between vehicles and AV weapons
- Exploring the possibiltty of more weapon types and variants on current items
- NPE, looking to help collect ideas to make the introduction into the game easier and possible UI tweaks to help make the game more accessable and informative to less experienced players
- Review and tweaking daily missions to have better scaling action vs rewards
Overall im hoping to bring to the team and the community a dilligent empirical approach to gathering and analysis of player feedback from all corners of the community, this isnt about me bringing my ideas to the Dev team, its about helping you bring yours in a coherent and refined fashion. I can also via my own views represent the feelings of FW players players, public contract veterans and casual PC players.

Erm u managed to post on this thread, but it's an inconvenience to go a couple more clicks to the cpm vote page
Though I heartily agree having an I'm game voting mechanism would substantially increase voter turnout. Something to try in the future
