Anyone think these might have a place? Surely some of wish you at least had a chance to catch that pesky scout or be able to get a lucky hit on a drop ship or LAV? I play scout all the time and itGÇÖs simply too easy to disengage from combat. Was thinking something like direct hit for vehicles but splash would work on inf. Horribad idea or worth talking about?
Or maybe a Stasis web gun?

I believe this is going to be a module. Not sure if it's aimed at vehicles only, or people too. |

There is a lot that could be done with grenades, off the top of my head:
-Web/slow grenade -EMP Grenade (focused damage on shields) -Shock Grenade (Damages/drains stamina) -Flashbang (Visual impairment) -Gas Grenades with effects ranging from slowed movement to slowed stamina regen)
I find it quite likely the devs will play with grenade types but it probably isn't high on the priority list at the moment

Oooow like these ideas alot wut about rad grenades that do DOT this could be awsome for area denial much like VX gas does nowdays. VX is a ***** because its a sticky persistant gel that gives off the gas but this wont work on a dust merc hence the Rad suggestion. |

this would be great for heavies haha, i like the idea but could be somewhat broken, would need alot of balancing.
would be cool to have em grenades for shields you would think that shock would be for armor, however I do not think gas grenades would have a place, seeing as we are in suits and since we are fighting on planets which i doubt all have atmospheres anyway chances are we have respirator systems in the suits. |

Thats why I suggested Rad nades to take the place of VX gas cos like well wut you said. Its just a RL comparison |

How about a grenade whose explosion tosses you to the ground and makes you stagger for a few seconds with your controls unresponsive, your hearing ringing and your eyesight blurred, doubled, and mistracking? That would prevent you from running away |

I do think this is an awesome idea but at the same time I could see people spamming all the entrances to installations with them and mowing down the very slow moving people trying to get inside. So, yeah, balancing issues but I think it would be awesome. |

As a scout, I want to rage about the idea of web grenades..then I remembered they still need to hit you with it, and i'd much rather be webbed than one-hit-killed by the current grenades...even militia.. |

since a drop suit is made so it can drop people from orbit, it probably has radiation resistance, and since these are futuristic suits i expect anti flash-bang features in them. as for gas, were in an environmentally sealed suit, it would have to be acidic gas. |

as far as flashbangs and gas go, nothankyou.jpg. However, I think EMP nades should shut off your HUD and somewhat "scramble" your vision for 5 seconds or so, effectively acting as a flashbang, but without the ridiculous noise and disorientation.
I really like the idea of a webbing grenade that would explode into a web-like statis field roughly the size of a nano-hive (maybe bigger) and web down any players (friend and foe alike) in a radius twice the bubbles size (perhaps with a visual effect) for about 10 seconds. When webbed, the target would have their movement speed halved, and would be unable to sprint.
Maybe thats a bit too harsh, but there has to be a way to make it useful and also allow a player to escape from it somehow. But hey, I suppose they probably have all this figured out by now anyway, so I'll let them deal with it, and see what they do! :) |

a webber in eve was single target but it lasted till deactivated or until out of range. and the speed reduction depended on the webber, some if i remember right dropped speed by 1/4th some could drop speed by way more (i don't remember how much exactly.), and you could stack webbers and increase the effect or bypass webber defenses. |
