Lol I know I have trouble with the small rail guns turrets from time to time. Center mass on the target, dot is red and less than 50m away. Unload 5-6 shots at them and hit nothing. It's not like the weapon is supposed to have a huge scatter or anything... Some times it's so bad that I fire, cool down, fire cool down etc through an entire clip and can't seem to hit that stationary heavy with a forge gun. |

Greater ISK sink and cost of ammunition goes up the higher tiered the weapon is.
Can make someone think twice about pulling out officer gear, or engagements in general.

Agreed. I was driving a Railgun HAV yesterday and was an ally being engaged by a scout. I put a shell within 2-3m of the target who kept on trucking as though a iridium felechette round the size of his fist with a gravitron pulse detonator did not just whiz past his head accelerated several times faster than the speed of sound using 80Gj of energy to power my main gun and shrugged off any kinetic forces or payload that likely would have inflicted severe harm on him.
Where the hell are the main battle cannon and why the hell are we still tolerating these Assault Cannon weapons?
