It really does not feel like an upgrade. It just feel like you just turn a page on a book, so to speak. It is very fast.

Waiting for the next major update.
No tablet features, no upgrade. Simple as that.
This OS is a sorry excuse for a Windows 8 successor. It's utterly baffling that they just threw the control scheme out of the window and replaced it with an unfinished redesign that does all of the same things, but worse on a conceptual level.
Also, the forced updates really made me reconsider installing it on my desktop. I ran into way too many "here, have a forced restart" situations to ever trust auto-update again. It's especially lovely when an update starts while I'm playing a game and then later I get the forced restart with no questions asked (because **** having a transparent screen that actually states that the shown time delay is not "delay for another hour" but "hide this notification, which is telling you that the restart will happen in one hour, no matter what you do", because it got changed from XP for whatever idiotical reason) and lose progress in IE, because it's the only ******* browser where "restore last session" flat-out doesn't work. Stop whining about IE. I know that you are already getting out your pitchforks. If I have to use a botnet, I at least want to use one that isn't bloated and doesn't shove political ideologies down my throat. Especially now that I got 4gb RAM and a Celeron on my system. No way that it will be able to handle Chrome/Firefox.
I hope Microsoft get to their senses in a few months. Lately they've loved to backpedal.

So it will run faster if you have Vista or 7. If you got XP, it will be slow as molasses, but more secure. And more NSA. |

I feel the same about Ubuntu 15.04. Good to the point of being a bit boring.
15.10, I'm a little worried about when it lands. Lots of changes in video stack.
