I would like to push that CCP puts in split screen play where another person could sign in with their PSN account and jump in and play with you using the same PS3 and TV. I realize this would be hard to have in the beta, but I still wanted to stress this. It would fit in well with the free to play model and would increase the game's social reach, which is huge. There are obvious ups and downs to the quality of play, but at the same time, it is fun to play with 1 to 3 of your buddies sitting in the same room. |

would be nice. but not a priority at all.
Also, with the architecture of the servers (Eve Tranquility server). i think we'll never get that option. |

I really doubt the PS3 could handle that. Think about it. It's essentially multiboxing the game on a PS3, which as it stands right now, has a hard time managing just 1 instance of the game. |

IT would be nice. My friend does not have PS3 but he loves EvE and loves to play DUST. But only think we can do is to invite him to my place, give him pad and watch to ruin my D/K ratio, fittings (I'm fast repairing, long rage/dropships, his more like close combat, heavy arrmor, tanks), and SP. I know that I can make another Merc for him...but running with duet like this (me dropping his heavy ass in the middle of combat) already worked in few titles.
But sure it's not a priority, and always he can join us in PS community :) |

Keep in mind, the ps3 is 2006 hardware. I doubt it could handle it.
Not to mention that the ps3 does not allow you to log into more than one account at once. Thus.... no split screen play. |
