Dust in game skills Helped you in a different Game altogether. ie- I played Fa* C*y 3 (After wiping the Dust from the cover), for a change of pace. I found my gun game Highly improved, my Driving-Crisp and Earnhardt like, an overall tactical Approach to the engagements, etc. Has yer OP Maddy helped you on Worl* of *anks? Your Myofibs in Planetside 2/Modern Warfare? Don't get me started on Sniping......... |

After playing Dust, I've actually gotten a lot more ballsy in other games I play. After playing King's Field again, old PS1 game series that is basically the precursor to Dark Souls, made by the same company and just as forgiving, I learned that instead of my usual overly careful, cowardly 'stay back and exploit aggro leash distance to get through tougher areas' tactics, I actually run in there and take on multiple enemies at once. And win, because Dust taught to keep ******* moving and to pay closer attention to everything. I've learned that 'don't stop moving' works in a lot of other games, as well. Dust has actually made me a better player overall.
It's just unfortunate that moving doesn't work quite as well on computers that have much better tracking skills than other people. |

Dust has helped me in real life too.
Now I get chicks. Maybe not the hottest but I'm touching bewbs.
Dust helped me get a job. On the job application, I put all my stats, sp, roles and proto suits. The interviewer hired me on the spot.
Dust helped me become a better parent to my kids. Now that I'm playing dust 8 hours a day I don't have time to feed my kids disgusting fattening foods and they are losing weight.
Dust is more than a video game

I taught me about the importance of vehicle orientation especially when engaging another vehicle. This transferred over into Battlefield 4, War Thunder Ground Forces, Planetside 2, and even into Final Fantasy XIV when I Tank as a Dark Knight and was told I naturally accounting for party position without even thinking about it.
Beyond that Dust has help me develop better character design for my writing and rounded out some of my weaknesses in terms of story telling, particularly in dialogue, sci-fi setting design, romance, etc.

My overall movement and situational awareness has improved, but my hip firing and aiming in general has worsen.

Back when I was new I happened to land on top of a red from a high up uplink and he died from gunfire right as I hit him. For the longest time I thought you could skill kill with intertial dampeners. I tried so hard to kill reds like that. Kept waiting on rooftops and ADSing waiting for them to get close enough. |

My sniping game sucks because of dust... If Anything Dust might have dropped my overall gun game, but increased tactical awareness and the ability to predict enemies actions and reactions to situations.
