So I logged into one of my alt accounts I use occasionally to mess around. This character has less than 2mil skill points and is maybe 1 battle out of the academy. I spent 25min this morning searching for battle. Set to any public game mode.... It was 9am pacific..
I'm guessing it's the low Mu score that made finding a battle so hard because I rarely have trouble at this time of day on my main. So in a quest to make sure noobs play noobs now they just can't seem to get into battles at all? I mean if I was just starting out and had to wait 20min to get into battle I don't think I would of stuck around as long as I have... |

They may have increased the priority of Mu. Though I doubt it. It may just be that few players were on. Or it was the daily down time.

Maybe few players on, though like I said it's rarely a trouble this late in the day. 9am pacific is 5hours give or take after the server shut down, it's about 4am pacific. |

On my several different alt accounts,
the junior or even junior characters face every once in a while the A-teams.
Not all the time, but often enough to notice.

even if what you are stating is true the amount of new characters created (new players trying the game or vets making alts) is enough and would be enough to keep low bracket matches more lively then that for vets
chances are you queued up for unpopular game modes at that time (setting carry over if on the same account and if so the type of players you'd get put up against would be the same as your main)

I think this is more of a sign that we just don't have enough players anymore to make the matchmaker and MU systems work properly. Dust is reaching that point where CCP has to make plans to port the game over.

If you guys read the OP I said I selected all game modes and it still took a minimum of 6-8 minutes to get into a match with the first fight of the day causing me to Scotty twice. Once I switched over to my main I was getting the usual 20 second or so timer matches that I would expect at this time of the day. |
