Sooooo..... Whats gonna happen to dust514 when the ps3 server's shut down for good. Ps4? Pc? Is ccp going to kill dust514. I just wanna know what the devs think about it even tho its not up to them so to speak. Or was there a thread that i missed? Mercs what do you think? Devs what do you think?

I look in the search didnt find anything from a dev gm or cmp on the topic just merc chatter not reliable

I'm pretty sure at least Rattati has said that he would like to see this game get ported, though I can't remember what, or even if, he said to what he would like it ported. But unfortunately what Rattati wants isn't necessarily what's going to happen for the game. |

No point in agonizing over server shutdowns that aren't likely to happen for SEVERAL YEARS yet.
Dust I think still has a year or two of life on ps3 before a port becomes mandatory for its health.

A couple months ago, in a PC port thread, CCP Rattati said this.

That is, unfortunately, the only incredibly vague piece of information we have about a Dust 514 port: CCP Rattati seems to want one. CCP has been otherwise silent on anything about Dust's future. Due to the silence many players speculate; sometimes reasonably, sometimes wild tinfoil-mummy style.

Also, no port. CCP is going to let this pig wallow in filth as long as people keep buying crap, then put it down out back with the ps3.

The port plans were mandatory back when the game "released". Now it's far, far past mandatory.

They could polish up the game and make it run smoother too.
