I am now at the point where I've done all the things everyone swears I should to combat lag... a whole bunch of stuff I shouldn't have to, but who cares right?
Still lagging ridiculously in PC. Lagging so bad that guys are running blueprints instead of proto? CCP, you may not wanna believe it, but this game lags really bad! I still manage to kill plenty, but why should I be forced to deal with so much lag?
In the pubs it about 85% clear... every now and then you run across "that guy", and the way I feel is if he wants it that bad go ahead. I'm not willing to spend cash or time on any "extra" to play. However, in PC it's gotten far worse! There was a period where I thought it was getting better, but clearly, and I mean landslide clearly, the team who's lagging will lose without a doubt.
Won a few this weak where the lag was low, but if the lag is high you can barely see straight. How do you justify this? Not responding?
I don't mean to rant, but good lord! Either individual players have you stumped, or your server is garbage! There is no in between! It's been laggy since PC started, and it's getting worse, not better!
Say it to us straight! "We don't know"! It's ok. I can take a guy telling me he doesn't know, but he's working on it. To say nothing is just disrespectful. To think after all this time that players haven't tried to do all the things possible to make the lag stop is also disrespectful!
I would hate to say it was the players causing the lag so like most of the playerbase, I'm saying it's a issue you can fix. They all swear it's CCP! No one is cheating, and this community is as honest as saints lol! So CCP you must be able to fix it.
Seriously want to play competitively without freezing, skipping, enemies disappearing, not knowing I died, rifle not reloading(if my toon has a rifle at all), and so many other issues.
The only way to somewhat clear the lag is to leave battle and come back, but at that point it's pointless to return.
After all this time, and all these post about lag from numerous players? Why is PC still available, and it hasn't been fixed?
Sorry if I come across angry, but I am kind of ticked. I don't care about losing a match. This is part of the game. I was raised in the "win some, lose some" era. I can take a loss, and move back to what I was doing.
However, when your air support blows up in midair, tank mods don't activate, the enemy isn't taking dmg no matter how much you shoot, and you get the red X for dmg but nothing happens?
I don't know what else to write to describe the experience?! Gonna keep trying all this stuff that other players have done that isn't helping them either. o7
