Lol, even EVE has a contract system. Scamming there is just a matter of misreading the decimal points. Which is a BS scam method due to simple weak game mechanics that could be fixed.
Likewise, even Ebay has a way of circumventing scammers and seeking legal restitution.
The way it works in DUST at the moment should at least allow you to go beat the crap out of the scammer.

That is exactly how it is in Eve Online (hive of the scammers), but even this system is not full proof. Like I said before, I would love to see this in Dust, but it will never guarantee that you will be 100% safe from scammers. Only the lazy scammers will fall to the wayside while the smart ones live on and reproduce to pass on their genes.
