I'm in Minmatar quarters now. Time to wreck ****.
That said, since I'm in newbie gear and almost no SP against the exact same people my proto wielding main was going up against, this is going to be a hilariously uphill grind. I've learned, though, that I really like the Combat Rifle and will skill into that instead of the Assault Rifle. I've also learned that the Bolt Pistol maybe isn't as OP as some people have made it out to be. Or maybe this guy was just really bad. Someone was trying to peg me with it and I danced out nearly his whole clip and he only hit me twice. Couldn't kill him, though, since he was behind cover and I was in the open trying to get to some. |

Original Gaston was an alt, and I used him primarily on the forums because I liked the name better than my main's. Gaston never saw combat outside a round or two of academy back when alts could still do that. Original Gaston was in Gallente quarters, however. When I made a second Minmatar alt (another one with a joke name like Gaston's) that actually got into the proper Minmatar quarters I pretty much fell in love with the place and decided to biomass Gaston and recreate him to be my main. I'm currently in the process of selling off all my old main's stuff to give to Gaston a head start. I apparently had 80 million ISK in non-officer assets just laying around.
Speaking of, if you want to buy any officer weapons or suits, I'm looking to get rid of them. I've got a little bit of pretty much everything. I'm gonna be posting in the Player Trading board in a little bit as 'Luka the otter' showing what I've got for sale. |

I've got no idea what's up with that. It might be because old Gaston was originally a Minmatar and new Gaston was given a different forum avatar to differentiate. I really hope that changes soon, though. I liked the Minmatar face.
And eh, even if filing a ticket worked I still would have biomassed Gaston. When I made him I made poor starting SP decisions and I don't want to spend $20 for a less than 1 mil SP character's respec, and why bother with however long a ticket may take for room service when I can just biomass and remake him in ten hours?
I wanted to stop using my main because the name is a bad joke that I stopped enjoying a long time ago, but didn't want to move over to another character because of the SP and real money investments. For whatever reason, the Minmatar racial quarters made all that go out the window. I guess I really like bleak and rusty. |
