CCP no longer has the art personnel for 3D modeling anymore. Most were reassigned to Legion, EVE or were released from the company.
That's the reason there will not be any more unique models: no new weapons, equipment or vehicles.

I agree with both DeadlyAztec and Squagga on this.
On the one hand, I do prefer to see actual models that better represent the Amarr and Minmatar HAVs rather than just repaints of the Gallente and Caldari HAVs, but on the other hand... does CCP Rattati even have the available personnel for that kind of stuff?

Who cares really, without any performance improvements, all the daily missions in the world won't make it tolerable.
I won't deny that giving people crafting for during their ten minute downtimes between pubs is not a horrible idea, although even then the bad client performance shines right through.

Especially of why would a Amarr tank be in a Gallente tank = NO Minmatar should take Gal tank and Amarr the Caldari.

I was referring to the reskinned HAVs that Rattati discussed many months ago.

There is a difference between being 'cool' with the re-skinned HAV and recognising that CCP Rattati does not have the assets to produce unique models for them.
What instead I shall attempt to do is make the best of what we might be getting.

I just thought under the light conditions it looked a little too...... gaudy. Not really a warm enough tone for the kind of aesthetic the Amarr project. Though colour schemes always do seem to look better in game than in images.
