WTH is up with grenades being thrown at random, without me ever having pressed the grenade toss button?
This happened to me twice in FW just now. I spawned, ran towards the city and boom: my character threw a grenade. Nothing was anywhere near the grenade button.
Later in the match, I actually wanted to throw a grenade and did press the button, but nothing happened. Until about 40 seconds later, that is, when that grenade was actually thrown into the boxes I was using for cover and instantly blew up in my face =ƒÿú |

Fix your controller or buy a new one. The padding on the ribbon that connects the buttons to the board has worn out.
You can fix this with a small rolled up piece of electrical tape to replace that padding.

Sounds like it's about time for a new controller. This game gets very temperamental with a worn in controller, even if it works fine with other game's. Soon when you try to run the map, vehicle, leader board, or grenade will be used this is an ongoing issue I have it starts with the grenade so just don't equip one but when the other issues crop up do yourself a favor and just get a new one. Sony stopped manufacturing ps3 controls but I hear that the ps4 controller is compatible. I've also tried a cheap 3rd party controller but they are terrible save yourself the frustration and just fork out the 50 bucks for a new ps controller when you start getting more issues than just the grenades. |

It's good to know that a simple surgical procedure can clear up these embarrassing explosive accidents.

Just don't do what I did the first time I tried it and break the battery cable.
Also take your time on the triggers they can be annoying when it comes to getting everything back together.

I've done it some months ago and it hasn't acted up since.

Unplug then plug in (turn off then on). If it doesn't work, buy new one.
