Hey, a few old vets and I plan on giving Dust a visit for old times sake.
Just looking for any general updates on how the game works these days and what to watch out for from any FOTM scrubs, if that is still a problem with the game? |

Currently you're going to have to deal with super jumping Mass Driver assholes. They can jump high enough to go over most walls. Standard and Advanced dropsuits now have the same slot layouts as Prototype, so lower tier suits have a better chance of survival. There are some other things that I can't seem to remember at the moment, but those are the biggest in-game. |

Lag is still a problem, just about anyone can PC now, shields are worse and armor is the new meta, peoplemare running from matches mostly in pubs.
Madrugars are the new king of tanks, double hardeners and double reps are the vanilla. Watch out for MassDriverAssDivers. Depending on the group of vets you are bringing is how I can tell you just how much has changed.

Not sure who is joining in yet and it depends on me finding a PS3 controller that is hidden in the house somewhere but hopefully we'll get a look at all the new scrubiness tonight!

For real.....
Seems they love modded contollers, scrams, and myo fibs.
Seems a lot of the biggest/worst corps do.....
Nothing like a four man garbage squads in pubs packing needles and myos on minmando suits...
And people wonder why new guys quit, can't say I blame them if the first 10 games you play are 4 minute redlines by guys with more money than they can ever spend and a 70 mill xp lead playing HALO. |

We're one of the few corps that don't chase fotm lol..every other corp spams heavies and scouts but we struggle getting those roles in pc

Obviously you have not been with your team in pubs then. I have played with you many times in FW that were good times, but gonna say I see literally 10+ or your guys running FOTMs in pubs everyday. You're not the only group, so if you don't want the reputation you might want to talk to some of your members. Not quite Dust Brazil or Skill of GOD yet, but getting close on a lot of days. |

But we don't do pubs -- well me, personally, and a few others.
And is Caldari FOTM now?
Never really touch my proto suits anymore unless I'm laying links.
