The 4 man squad in pubs was a terrible idea?
What exactly was supposed to be the purpose of only 4 people? It seems like you can't really accomplish much.
Also, does anyone else think it would be a good idea to allow 8 man squads in pubs, not just FW? Considering Matchmaking sucks, maybe 8 man squads in pubs would bring some fixes to that.
I realize there COULD be downsides, but at least it gives the potential for a game changer when there is no hope since some people are getting spawned in halfway through matches anyway.

Not from what I have experienced. They are still one sided.
Regardless it's supposed to be a team effort and not much is achievable with only 4 people.

4 man squads were always fine from the get go.
If you want to stomp with a lot of friends, you should go play game modes that are more likely to have other like minded players. |

There is team chat where everyone can work together with or without a squad.

I love how team chat is so broken its existence is completely overlooked even tho you get automatically placed into it if not in squad and not voiced elsewhere.
CCP FIX TEAM CHAT.
We need to be able to see who is commed there.
We need everyone to be able to comm there. I still try to get my squad to all voice in team chat sometimes only to find that a couple of people can not do it.

Having no teams in a pub makes it pointless to even play them in a game based on teamwork. I realize PC or FW is a viable option, but for those of us who suffer from more severe lag than others it's just not an option to continuously to try and find a PC or to queue into FW. Any skirmish-style game is hard on not only my console, but other people out there and I would rather not have to reset after every match I play, which is why Domination/Ambush/Acquisition is a better option.

If we had a player base, adding a separate 'no squad' option would be ideal.
Plenty of players prefer going it alone and having an even playing field would be nice. Unfortunately the number of players is far too low to further split up players. This game really only requires teamwork if the whole enemy team is also working together. Otherwise, just don't be bad and you'll do just fine. |

We used to stomp so hard with just a two man squad. Mainly because Kitty is a monster who is great at pulling aggro, and I work best when nobody is paying attention to what I'm doing.

The 4 man squad is a great idea it helps keep the focus so your team isnt always wondering off. Keeping track of 6 members in 6 different locations is a pain. Working together and keeping a tight small group is easier to manage.

If you're in a squad, why is your whole squad spread out across the map? If everyone is scattered it completely defeats the purpose of said squad.
