I was fighting a battle when my ps3 froze. (it does this about once every 4-5 games usually) Since the mcc was at 1/10 health and the defending team held all 3 terminals I waited about 3 minutes before flicking the switch on the back of my ps3. When I logged back in I noticed I had about 40,00 more sp and about 100,000 more isk. I'm assuming that it was because the battle ended with me in but frozen, but has anyone else had it happen that can confirm it? |

that would be a nice trick if it works. it is very frustrating to play a game and be doing really well and then freeze and lose everything. i have a streak of bad games the other night, with a negative k/d spread and finally i get into a game and go something like 15/0 and of course, the game freezes. i just tuned it off the rest of the night |

Yeah, I've had a couple trying out new drop suit loadouts that it froze in and I lost lots of isk |

It didnt work for me, I was in a match and it froze on the victory screen and I didnt get any of the isk or sp that I earned during the match, not sure if I lost the dropsuit loadouts I was killed in but I agree the game will typically freeze every 2 or 3 hours for me. I can pretty much count on it. Everytime I've stopped playing for the day or whatever its been because the game froze and I was tired of dealing with it. Not sure what is the issue here but when you can't play the game for more that 2 hours before your console crashes it can be a bit....frustrating. Nevermind the fact that my ps3 is incredibly reliable, before Dust I could probably count on 1 hand the number of times its crashed and I've owned it for years. |

The trick hasne't worked for me. The Game freezes and it really pisses me off considering how much a loadout cost and all theses freeze preventing me from making ISK to replace them. it gotten to the point where I do nto spawn vhiecles any more just in case the game freezes on me. |

I had this happen last weekend(was doing awesome) so when I rebooted, I saw that I had much more sp and isk accrued than when the match started. It was the only time I've had it freeze, I'm usually not on for very long and I'm semi paranoid about burning my PS3 out, so I did the whole quit/reload trick on Friday after every match. Haven't had anytime since to play more :( |

I can confirm this. You can also still hear voice chat while the system is frozen but after a few minutes you'll be dumped from the match. If the match is close to finishing you will get your points. I've done it several times this weekend. |

Sometimes it works, sometimes it doesnt.
Also, you often keep voice comm working while freezing. |

PS3 crasches average 3-4 standard long plays for me.
Still a lot of memory leaks.

Probably froze right when battle ended. Freezes get treated as if you left the battle. Lost suits from the deaths and no rewards or payouts. |
