100% of other online games have a massive start screen with tons of information and notices.
Dust has a one piece screen that is the last thing to get updated.

Actually, this is a good idea. I remember a friend who now plays with me a lot. There was a match where he ran out of ammo and he was complaining because the "supply depot" wasnt giving any ammo... Of course, the CRU wont give you any ammo. Now, he could have asked or could have read when he aim to the installation, but if Dust had in the menu something like "Info", and that was divided into "weapons", "suits", "vechicles", "installations", "races" and maybe even "sockets", that could be a great idea to help new players get the game easier.
For example:
Information
Installation CRU: Installation that provides a spawn point for mercenarys in the area around it. The teams that hacks it will control this point, giving tactical advantage over the enemy in terms of insertion of clone units.
Supply Depot: Installation that allows the mercenarys to change their dropsuit in the course of battle, as well as to replenish ammunition. Having control of this installation allows to change suits according the situation and enemies that are faced, giving and edge over the enemy. They excel when it comes to defend a point, giving a lot of flexibility to the mercenarys.
Turrets: Installations dedicated to engage enemy units and mostly placed in points that allow to defend certain areas. They do not require to be replenished when it comes to ammo and there are different types of turrets, each one with a diferente damage profile.
Blaster Turrets. Missile Turrets. Railgun Turrets.
And the idea is to have something similar with all the other things you can find in the game. So, if you checked the suits you could see the diferent roles that we have and, in theory, wich one is good to do certain jobs (scout, assasination for example, sentinel in point defense, etc). Also, there could be info about the ideology of each suit for faction, so people would know how, in theory, they should fit their suits; gallente as crazy armor repair rate; amarr as armor freaks; caldari as shield frustrated freaks; minmatar as the more "agile" suits.
And so on with everything else.
