My first custom suit was named the Shotgun Medic. Just the standard starter medic suit, but with a shotgun instead of an assault rifle. I did surprisingly well with it at first. An unfortunate consequence of this it that I continued to try the suit, even when I was getting my ass handed to me repeatedly. Poor little ol' me didn't know what dampeners were, or understand that you want speed on shotgun fits. And I even forgot I was supposed to be playing a medic role. Whoops. |

Back in Chromosome there was this nifty, unique little thing called a 'Thale's' Militia Scout BPO. Back then it had SWAG unlike today. Add a Burst AR and some plates and a dampener and it became my "Pathfinder" which kicked so much ass.

It was, though it may just be my biased, rose tinted glasses talking. It was a simpler time. NK's could be charged before sprinting, proto gear meant something and TTK was just right. I'll never forget holding down a null cannon by myself against 6 guys long enough for back up to get there.

and so on, or maybe the occasional weapon type in the beginning like

The best has heavy combat logi. My friends knew what was going on when I said I'm pulling out the jakkal special. There was going to be reps, constant AR suppression, and and a shotty for those pesky shotgunner scouts.
While slow to anger and occasionally indecisive, they are also capable of harnessing enormous resolve when truly tested.

Vanguard.
I named my Swarm Launcher fit Vanguard during Chromosome. It was named after the Rebel AV class from Star Wars: Battlefront I & II.
That game taught me everything I know about shooters.

I have never named my fits just like i only have 1 fit made up per suit its always the name it has to begin with.
Unless you count adding " " to them as changing the name but that was simply to have proto at top and cheap fits at bottom.

Snipe. It was a militia min med frame with a charge sniper rifle.
I never asked for help early on so I went with what I knew worked in other games. It was so boring and the day we all got a skill reset I left snipers. I'll use a bpo SR every now and then to counter snipe but I usually run a bpo scout into the redline to hunt snipers. Good times.

Proto Cal Logi Charge Sniper ... This was back in Open Beta when Cal Logis were the slayer bees. I fit 5 complex damage mods (had no idea WTF I was doing), uplinks, nanohives, and a Charge Sniper and went to town.
