Please help, no voice chat. Headset works in PS3 menu when setting up and I get game sound but no chat. Settings are voice on, ptt off, and activate channel corp, squad, etc. Get the mic symbol but no annotation next to my character or other members. Please help. |

I'm assuming you are getting no voice all the time?
#1 would be delete saved game data.
#2 reduce your number of extra chat channels
#3 if your mic can be unplugged from the headset, check the connection/s ;)
If your problem is intermittent? : (because that happens to me regularly)
#1 Shut down your PS3, unplug it. Start fresh.
#2 Turn off your headset and restart it.
#3 Unplug and replug your headset.
#4 Remove headset from PS3, reboot, reboot, reconnect headset and reconfigure it, reboot, check headset configuration.

Still no voice chat. Any other suggestions? No chat in Dust but works in other games. Settings are all right but not annotation next to my character in chat or other characters. |

My chat just went down, along with 2 other corpmates who just logged on.
Connection to voice chat lost, reconnecting...
Never does though.

I've found that unplugging my headset and plugging it back in often solves voice dropping out.
This includes:
Suddenly you can't hear your team mates even though they tell you in chat they are talking.
Suddenly your voice doesn't work but you can still hear others.
The voices of others often become glitchy before they drop out all together.
I've only just bought another PS3 compatible headset, and Astro A40.
